Yes, it’s finally getting colder as Shimamura sees someone unexpected when she hits the gym.
It seems that after Shimamura’s failed attempt at pushups, she heads to the gym with her mother. I find it funny how she walked on the treadmill for only 5 minutes. Yes, her mother doesn’t seem happy that she only walked for five minutes. Shimamura not taking school seriously causes her mother to become worried.
Either way, Shimamura heads to the pool. This is probably the only moment where we will see her in a swimsuit, for now. This is where she floats and sink to see how pretty the water surface is before floating back up. Of course, her mother pokes her foot in the stomach. Of course, there are perverts that we won’t even mention. This is where we see someone very familiar who looks kind of like Adacchi. Apparently Shimamura’s appearance at the pool surprises Adachi’s mother there. Yes, like Shimamura is destined to meet Adachi’s mother.
While Adachi’s mother talked to another mother, apparently a lady asked her about how her daughter is doing. After Shimamura hears something about Adachi’s mother saying that her daughter is a troublemaker. Not only that, she states that her daughter never shares how she is doing. Of course, this bothers Shimamura and she tells Adachi’s mother off that her mother doesn’t understand her daughter. This is surprising since Shimamura doesn’t know everything about Adachi.
Then, they Shimamura decides to have a competition of who is right with Adachi’s mother. Yes, Adachi’s mother eventually gives up after Shimamura shares what is her ideal mother. Apparently, Adachi’s mother wished if her daughter only shared the things that make her happy. Shimamura suggests her to think about her daughter now instead of the past. She eventually gives in before the time is up.
The next day, Adachi shared what happened last night after her legs twitched as Shimamura lays her head on her lap. Adachi eventually reveals that she and her mother had dinner together. Of course, this makes her feel anxious.
Obviously, Shimamura is in on it as she rolls her head closer, which causes Adachi to become flustered. When Shimamura mentioned that she smelt Adachi’s scent, she becomes flustered. It’s obvious that Adachi’s mother decided to follow Shimamura’s decision. She wants to repair her daughter’s relationship after receiving advice from Shimamura.
With that, Yashiro finally meets Shmamura’s little sister. Yes, after she try to avoid her in the beginning of the episode. Still, I like her reaction when she sees Yashiro as a fairy instead of an alien.
That night, Shimamura invites Adachi to karaoke. We see a glimpse of some cute moments such as Adachi complimenting Shimamura’s outfit as she sees Taeko and Akira. While we didn’t get to see them sing, we got to see Adachi and Shimamura sing a song. As always, Adachi was staring at Shimamura while they were singing together and Shimamura notices. I must admit that is cute. Still, Adachi wonders if she is forcing herself to do karaoke instead of being herself. Obviously, Adachi yearns the time when Shimamura was in a daze on the second floor of the gym.
Yes, the nice moment we were waiting for finally comes. After buying drinks and drinking it, Shimamura wondered if she enjoyed her time. Apparently, Adachi doesn’t mind now. This is when Shimamura mentions that Adachi was staring at her while singing.
Eventually, Adachi shares her feelings by asking her to pat her head. Yes, Shimamura does it. Yep, the relationship between Adachi and Shimamura finally gets an upgrade. With that, Adachi keeps the can of water Shimamura bought as a memento. Either way, it’s obvious that Adachi is motivated. After all, she wants to be someone special to Shimamura now.

Yes and hopefully now, Adachi’s mother might understand her daughter a bit more. Still, it’s nice to see Adachi finally come into terms with her feelings. Hopefully the relationship blossoms from here, if you know what I mean.
