Yuna finally enters the virtual world after paying her parents off. When she logs in, she is in for a big surprise.
It’s obvious from the first episode, Yuna has very little interest in the real world. Ever since she started playing the first VRMMORPG, World Fantasy Online, she spent time only playing that game and less on real life. When she logs in, she sees a maid advising her that she is eligible for a special gift.
After Yuna picks a chest and opens it, it contains a bear set. As expected, she finds it embarrassing and overpowered. She answers a quick survey. This is starting to sound like your typical isekai story now.
With that, when Yuna entered the world, she finds herself wearing the bear outfit. To make matters worse, she can’t access the controls and she is at level one. Yep, this is not too surprising since she is not in a game anymore, but in another world after reading a message from god. In other words, she must start from zero.
I find it funny how Yuna manages to defeat a wolf with a stick. This is not too surprising considering how overpowered the bear set is. Shortly after, she heard a scream for help. After a wolf started to attack a little girl, she throws a rock and she manages to defeat it. When Yuna walks up the girl, she asks if Yuna will eat her. After taking the hood of, Yuna and Fina introduces themselves. Yep, this is the faithful encounter we were waiting for.
Of course, while Yuna can store stuff in her endless pouch, she cannot break things down. Fina helps her do that and after selling the loot, Yuna manage to receive a lot of gold back. She offered to slit the earnings with Fina, but it’s obvious that she doesn’t want to take it. Still, it’s nice of her to still take it in exchange of showing her around town. After all, she got a nice dinner out of it since Yuna is loaded with money.
The next morning, Yuna finally realizes that she is not in virtual reality, but in fact in another world. Yep, it becomes obvious as she can no longer detect who is a player or a non-player character. Then again, I doubt that she cares since she is very indifferent towards the real world.
After waking up, she obviously tries her new powers out. As expected, the bear suit is overpowered, which allows her to do perform various abilities. However, when she takes the bear mitts off after taking out a sword, she couldn’t take it out of the ground. As expected, she has to wear it all the time, which is the God’s plan after all.
Either way, she must make good use of these new powers. Fina suggests her to become an adventurer. Of course, there is an adventurer that makes fun of Yuna because of her ridiculous outfit. Of course, he learns the hard way through a beating. Still, I find it hilarious how Yuna puts down “bear” as her job. She also learns the situation Fina is facing with her father passed away and her mother in poor health.
With that, Yuna handily completed the first few beginner jobs. I find it hilarious how she manages to defeat not one wolf, but a whole pack. This makes Bell look weak in comparison. She eventually takes the quest to defeat a pack of tiger wolves. They look more like tigers than wolves. However, there is one aiming for Fina again, gathering herbs.
Thankfully, Yuna defeats it, but she can’t salvage the last hunt given how badly beaten it is. Still, it’s not too surprising that Fina is crying. It’s obvious that she wants to earn money to help her mother and sister.
In the end, Yuna has a solution and decides to create a contract with her to do the job of breaking down the loot. Yep, it feels more like marriage proposal more than anything. Either way, at least this pairing is mostly official. Still, I find it funny that it happened after Yuna accepted the tiger wolf quest.
The premiere fans wanted and I can see why. I didn’t dislike Episode 1 myself. It served its purpose. Anyway Fina’s a delightful first harem girl. I look forward to meeting the others.
Yes, it’s bound to happen, but the second episode is definitely the real first episode. But yes, Fina is great. It will be nice to see rest of the cast.
