Hina suddenly gains the urge to catch some whiting. However, she finds out that in order to catch them, she needs to use a special bait.
In the first segment before Hina discovers whiting, it seems that Hina keeps catching a spiney. Apparently, the fins are sharp and poisonous. Also, it seems. However, after Hina finds out that it’s fishy, she throws it back into the ocean. Yep, Yuuki seems disappointed when she threw it back.
Thankfully, Hina catches another one and Makoto was there to show how to make the fish editable. Believe it or not, after Makoto made it into sashimi. After tasting them, Hina and Natsumi finds them delicious. Hina even brings a cooler filled with spineys after Makoto did all the prep work for her.
With that, Hina had tempura made out of whiting fish brought by their neighbors. From that, Hina wants to fish for them. I find it funny how Yuuki and Natsumi seems surprised by Hina’s desire to become more assertive. However, they question Hina’s motivation. I guess they know something that Hina doesn’t.
Yep, Hina had a huge freak out at the fishing shop. In order to fish for whiting, she needs to use live ragworm. I like how Yuuki joins in with Natsumi in tormenting poor Hina with those live worms. While I felt bad for Hina, I have to admit that her freakout over the worms was hilarious.
Either way, it seems as if Hina is about to give up despite wanting to become more assertive. I guess she never gotten over her fears over bugs. Thankfully, the shop keeper showed Hina bait that looks like ragworm. With that, Hina feels relieved.
However, she finds out soon that the fake bait that Hina uses is not the same as the actual ones. When she uses the technique from Yuuki on how to lure the whiting. While Natsumi and Yuuki managed to catch many, Hina didn’t get a single catch. I have to admit that I felt bad for her.
Thankfully, Hina finds out on the internet that the technique she used only works with live bait. After finding out the correct technique, she regains the motivation to do it. Will she become successful as Yuuki and Natsumi uses the same bait? We have to find out in the last episode.
