With Tiara’s group coming very close to expulsion she asks the director, Chloe to perform an Orchestra. Will they make it? You probably know the answer.
At last, Tiara finds out that her older sister, Eliza was the leader of the idol group named Ray. Chloe is also a member and explains her team members. I like how similar the members in Ray are to Tiara’s group. Not only that, Chloe also mentions how similar Tiara is to her older sister, Eliza.
Still, it’s surprising that Angelica is actually Ange still attends the school. However, she had a short break. This can explain why she is taller than Lucifer. It’s obvious that Chloe convinced her to come back to the school to realize her own potential.
After receiving the anxious nod of approval from Chloe, Tiara goes to work. Besides focusing on their studies, they worked on their singing, choreography, costumes, lyrics and stuff. Also, it’s nice to see Maryberry helping the girls out on the more technical aspects of the performance. Still, it’s nice to see the members of Sugar Pockets, IV KLORE and Konohana wa Otome help them out.
On the day of the actual performance, Tiara’s group finally decides on a name. After seeing the lights turn on, Tiara recalls the time she first arrives at the town and decides to call the group “LiGHTS.”
While their performance went well and Yue seems to show some approval from it, there is a catch. While Tiara thought they made it, the performance didn’t count since it went beyond the specified area they were supposed to perform. I guess someone didn’t tell them the rules, thus setting up Tiara’s group to fail.
In other words, the academy expelled Tiara and her friends for failing to meet the minimum points requirement. That is just cruel, or maybe this is Eliza’s and Chloe’s plan after all. This not too surprising since we see Eliza cloaked in the 6th episode while Lavie passes her in the hallway.
Believe it or not, Eliza is the one that opposed Tiara’s decision to attend the school in the first place. But is this plan worth it to ruin Eliza’s reputation or possibly ruining Tiara’s relationship with her older sister if she finds out? Probably not. I have a feeling that someone will reverse this decision or make an exception after the fact. After all, would the story or the mobile game continue with Tiara’s group disbanded from expulsion? Probably not.
It was nice getting a surprise mini flashback of Ray in their heyday. Yuzuriha and Camilla were my top two.
The LiGHTs Orchestra was worth the wait.
I see you are a “Let’s look up the source material” kind of viewer.
Yes, it’s definitely interesting to learn more about Ray. Still, it’s kind of interesting there are some similarities. Still, it’s nice to see LiGHTs’ performance.
Yep, it’s obvious, but there is no source material since the game is not out yet, but I highly doubt they will kick out the main idol unit of the game.
