Now that the sky cleared up, will Ao and Mira be able to find an asteroid this time around?
Thanks to Nanami coming up with the idea of making those Teru Teru Bouzu, it cleared up on the island. The girls worked on their presentations with some more lectures. Eventually, the day ended, and the girls give it another shot. Will Ao and Mira make it this time around?
Since the observation will take a while to set up, the girls went stargazing. They also took pictures of the night sky as well. Asuka and Shiho are apparently third year students since they mentioned entrance exams. They ask what Mira and Ao after discovering an asteroid. That is a good question. Apparently, they don’t know what to do next as they will come up with another goal.
As for their second try of finding an asteroid, they had better luck. With some scanning, they were able to find something. They decide to take a bet with the current area since they only have time to do one region. Sadly, after photographing it and processing the data, it only contains known asteroid. What a downer, but I expect this. After all, it wouldn’t be a big accomplishment if Ao and Mira managed to find one on the first try. At least they gained experience that will be useful to achieve their dream.
After presentations, it’s time for Mira and Ao to say goodbye to Asuka and Shiho. As expected, Shiho is trying to make a move on Ao. Sadly, it didn’t work. They took a picture together with a jump as they look in the sunset. Will they meet each other again? We’ll see.
Mira shares her experiences with her older sister, Misa. The next day, everyone else was waiting to welcome Mira and Ao back. It’s nice to see Mikake and Mari there as well. Apparently, Nanami was the one that help make the weather become clear. Mira and Ao seems happy about that. Also, Moe and Megu shows up with food. I find it funny how she becomes disappointed when she saw the candy. Not only that, it appears that Eve wants to interview Ao and Mira on their experiences.
Either way, Mira and Ao show them photos and what they did in those three days. Eventually, they look at the night sky through the telescope. Mira and Ao is hopeful that they will find an asteroid someday.
Final Thoughts
As with most Manga Time Kirara adaptations, Koisuru Asteroid is a very enjoyable show. Not only that, the pairings are really obvious as Mira and Ao made a promise to find an asteroid together. Not only that, it seems that they received a relationship upgrade once Ao moved into Mira’s house. It’s obvious that they are meant to be together. It becomes very apparent when Ao secretly flies to the same location Mira head to.
Of course, this show while touch upon some astronomy and geology stuff, there are a good amount of yuri. Besides Moe of course flirting with Mira and her friends, she has a big crush on Misa. Also, there is Mikake and Ino. Sure, Ino didn’t win at the end as Mikake went with Mari instead, her pairing had some nice moments. Also, you can’t forget Chikake and Nanami in the latter half.
Either way, I would definitely like to see a sequel at some point as I want to know if they achieved their dream. I guess we can only find out by reading the manga.
Need 2nd season. That is all. NEED 2ND SEASON!
Definitely for sure. We need to see them finally achieve the dream, someday.
