At last, Ao manages to make it to Okinawa. You might be wondering how did she got there?
You might be wondering, how did Ao manage to get to Okinawa? As expected, it seems that Ao received permission from her parents. She also received advanced pay from Moe. Lastly, Mikake and Mari helped her book a flight. I guess Ao wanted to keep it a secret as Moe suggested so the teacher won’t become angry.
Still, Ao didn’t have to go this far in the first place. Yuki revealed that she can observe given that Ao paid for the hotel and food. Yuki mentions that this was in the application notes. Eventually, the organizers allowed her to do just that, especially since she just spent all that money to get there. At least she took a good number of notes despite not being able to do all the activities Mira could do.
Meanwhile, it’s nice to see Mikake and Mari help Ino with the summer camp. They basically are doing around the same activities Mira and Ao did last year. Still, it seems that Mari dragged Mikake along since she thought it’s fond to look after the new members of the club. Then again, Mikake probably wanted to hang around with her little sister as well, but won’t admit it. Ino also shared Ao’s and Mira’s dream of finding an asteroid and the time they asked for advice at the museum to Nanami.
Meanwhile, the challenge begins as Ao observes. We see a few girls introduce themselves. This includes Tomori Asuka who has a resemblance to Jougasaki Rika. As expected, she is into idols. We also have Mikita Shiho who loves being around with humans. She takes notice of Ao after introducing herself. She even talks to her during break time.
Aside from that, they took various tours and listened to lectures. Ao eventually split from the rest of the group for lunch. Ao and Yuki went to a burger joint and one of Yuki’s friends came over. Her name is Hayakawa and she is Shiho’s chaperone. Yuki and Hayakawa know each other since they took the same challenge several years ago.
With that, there comes the main event. They went to the observatory to capture pictures of stars. Apparently, Ao and Mira becomes excited over the researcher’s bedroom. After some more lectures, they actually search the skies for asteroids. Apparently, Ao can join on the activity. Sadly, the weather got really bad, making it impossible to take any good photos.
Still, it’s nice to see Mari, Mikake, Ino, Nanami and Chikake hanging out. Apparently Ino found out that the weather was bad out there. It’s nice that Nanami suggests them to make some Teru Teru Bozu. I guess she got the idea when it rained during the barbeque.
Either way, it seems to clear up the next day. Will Ao and Mira have better luck this time. We’ll find out in the last episode.
