Now that Misa and Rin got even closer, they decide to do something unexpected. Rin drags Misa along with Manatsu and Yuzu to find the Nyu-Nyu.
In a short period of time, Misa has grown closer to Rin. Of course, this does not deter Rin to find ways to get even closer. Besides wanting to put the emblem on the jet ski that Misa finds embarrassing, she looked at their previous race for inspiration.
Apparently, Rin wants to do a cute pose towards the end of the race just like Dina and Ziyu. Of course, Misa is not going to do that, it’s way too embarrassing. She shows this displeasure by putting down her unfinished watermelon slice and walking away. Still, it would be nice if it happened. Deep inside, she probably wants to do it, but won’t admit it.
The next day while they go on a shopping trip, they run into Manatsu and Yuzu. Apparently, they are looking for Nyu-Nyu. While Misa tries to resist the temptation to go into a forbidden part of the sewer, she couldn’t. After all, Rin pushes her to do it and she can’t say no.
While it’s cute to see her hold Rin’s hand, they eventually discovered rats that scared them. As they ran away, one of Rin’s button became completely undone. Thankfully, they found a way out, which led them to a shrine.
Although we don’t know the name of the shrine maiden, she explains that Nyu-Nyu is actually a local god protecting the river. In other words, seeking it out would get themselves into trouble. At least she is nice to let them use the bath, feed them and fixed Rin’s shirt. Still, the shrine maiden calling them troublemakers’ kind of hit Rin home. It reminds her the fun times she had with her mother.
The next day, Rin returned to the shine. With that, she prayed thinking that she can make Misa openly love her. Of course, the shrine maven tells her that she needs to earn it from Misa. It makes sense, but if Rin tries a bit harder, maybe it can happen.
More RinMisa relationship development.
Manatsu blessing the world by proceeding with Phase 2 of Operation Paradise alongside Yuzu. OG was most pleased indeed.
Hell’s Kitchen showing small cracks. I have a feeling RinMisa will take advantage of this in their eventual rematch.
Ah yes. The miko was worth the wait and I look forward to meeting her girlfriend next time.
It’s nice to see Rin and Misa develop even further. But it’s nice to see Inori get a nice introduction of helping Rin and her friends out.
It’s not too surprising to see Diyu and Ziyu fighting since who wants to go bungie jumping? I would never have the courage to do that, too risky.
