Sayu is feeling a bit off today as the girls prepare for their mini live performance at the school. I wonder what is bothering her?
Apparently, Sayu is feeling a bit down for some reason during practice. She eventually slips during practice. After practice, she immediately went home. This makes it seem that something wrong is happening to Sayu. While Mana practiced some things at home, she receives a message from Sayu.
Apparently, she came to her apartment to stay for one night. This of course leads to a lot of nice Sayu and Mana moments. While Sayu initially doesn’t want to take a bath first, Mana eventually offered to take a bath together. When they are about to go into the bath, Mana thinks Sayu’s figure is nice as she pokes her in the back, causing her to throw the rubber duck. After Mana picks it up, Sayu blushes red. She reveals that she can’t take a bath with it and it’s embarrassing. Thankfully, Mana doesn’t think so and actually finds it cute.
Of course, this doesn’t end there. They slept in the same bed. Mana admits that she wants to be with Sayu for a long, long time. Sayu agrees. At this point, I feel that the relationship between them are more than just best friends. They are meant for each other, which kind of makes the viewers speculate when they will finally kiss.
Aside from that, we also learn the reason why Sayu came to sleep at Mana’s place. She apparently got into a fight with her mother. Her mother wanted her daughter to give up her idol dream. She doesn’t think her daughter will make the dream become true. This can explain why Sayu couldn’t go to the main campus if she wanted too. I guess her mother doesn’t care about what her daughter’s dream and more about her studies.
It’s understandable why she feels this way. She wants her daughter to succeed. However, the way she goes about it by forcing her daughter give up the ideal dream is not right. After all, Sayu along with her friends was able to make it pass the first round, proving Sayu’s mother who thinks it’s impossible wrong.
Thankfully, Mana convinces them to see their mini live performance. In a way, she is doing this to change their minds. Apparently, this eventually works as the usual pairings perform their duet songs. Sayu’s mother eventually got to see how much effort her daughter is putting in to make her dream became true.
With that, her mother changed her mind after seeing her daughter smile. She finally understands that her daughter wants to achieve her idol dream with Mana. Is this Sayu’s mother approving Sayu’s relationship with Mana? Maybe. Either way, I guess Sayu have to work hard to help KiRaRe to win the nationals. Otherwise, she would have to quit in Mizuha’s eyes. I know she is joking, but the group should definitely aim high. This means not just settling for winning just qualifiers, but actually winning Prism Stage.
I can sum up this episode in three words, “JUST KISS ALREADY!”
It’s not too surprising to share this sentiment since they are pretty much more than best friends.
