Now that KiRaRe decided their group name and song, they prepare for Prism Stage. However, Minori is going overboard on the practicing, thus tiring out her fellow members.
Obviously, it seems that Minori wants to prepare KiRaRe for the upcoming preliminaries for Prism Stage. As expected, the girls tired themselves out from dance practice and Minori only give 1 minute of break. After practice, Mana hangs out with Sayu talking about how the girls spend their break time. Apparently Kae is hearing stuff while sleeping in the nurse’s office while Kasumi spends time shooting stuff with her airsoft gun. As for Mizuha, she is looking at a book while being happy.
Surprisingly, Mana is taking the stress well while Sayu is reluctant to head to the club room. It’s understandable given how strict Minori is when it comes to practicing. She is probably working her fellow members a bit too hard that they stopped having fun practicing idol stuff.
Thankfully, Minori wants to take a change and pace and calls Mana and Sayu over. Apparently, she takes them to a specialty shop that sells crafting supplies. When they went inside, Sayu and Mana is amazed by all the items in the store. Eventually, Minori drag them away to the fabric section.
It’s obvious that she wants all the members to make the stage costumes from scratch. After all, the stage costumes are basically the idol unit’s identity. Still, it’s quite obvious that this will happen despite Sayu wanting to just rent some instead. It’s obvious that she wants to take the easy way out. Still, it’s funny how Sayu questions Minori’s fabric choices which she says is part of KiRaRe’s identity.
While they head to their next destination, Mana ran off. Apparently, she heard someone singing. Apparently, two girls were performing, which attracted a good number of people. Mana and Sayu seems amazed by their performance. She eventually decides to introduce herself to them as they might see them again in the competition.
Their names are Itsumura Yukari and Itsumura Haruka. They are part of an idol unit called Ortensia. Shizue, who is Yukari’s older sister and Haruka’s mother is helping them out. They are apparently one year apart and relatives with each other. Despite having the same last name, they are actually relatives. Still, they are raised like sisters since they lived nearby and have the same interest of becoming idols. That explains everything. Still, I have to admit that this reminds me of Saint Snow since their reasons of becoming idols are similar, except they are sisters instead of blood-related relatives. The only difference is that Yukari and Haruka is polite in comparison to Sarah and Leah with the latter being rather harsh and cold.
That said, Mana, Sayu and Minori helped them out with their next performance. I guess Yukari and Haruka sharing their reasons on how they became idols and why having fun is more important despite winning or losing had an impact on Minori. After all, Haruka and Yukari wants to have fun with each other. I think this is important with any team activity. Sure, winning and losing is important, but having fun is the most important. If you don’t have fun, there is really no point in doing that activity.
After a while, Minori changes her view during their performance. Sure, she doesn’t seem like she is enjoying herself. Eventually, she started smiling after looking at them performed. While she doesn’t want to admit that she is having fun when Mana points it out, she loosens up. Now, she doubled the break time by two minutes during practice. At least it’s something.
The new girls have an interesting family tree there.
Mii learning to lighten up a little was neat, even if it only resulted in one extra break second. Baby steps.
Yes, it’s nice to see more girls from different groups. Aside from that, I agree that seeing Minori loosen up. While she is strict, I guess some things don’t change right away.
