It looks like Hibiki now has a new rival as she participates in an arm-wrestling competition. I wonder who.
Hibiki is very motivated to earn some more money. She wants to buy a home entertainment system, but can’t since her gym membership and food takes up most of her earnings. In other words, when Hibiki heard that there is a cash prize for an arm-wrestling tournament, she becomes motivated.
As for the trial round, Hibiki handily beats Ayaka. This is not so surprising to see Hibiki having superhuman strength since she manages to defeat her handily. Yes, on the first try too. As for Machio, Hibiki put up a good fight, but ended up losing. This is not surprising given how much muscles he has.
On the day of the competition, Hibiki and Ayaka becomes surprised that there are only two opponents. Apparently, Akemi became sick, thus she couldn’t participate. However, there is a new opponent with silver-colored bobbed hair, blue eyes and pale skin with a familiar voice to Kujou Karen. Her name is Zina Voyd, who is from Russia. She also trains at the Silverman Gym in Russia, but specializes in martial arts. She is apparently good at arm wrestling in Russia. Sadly, Zina underestimated Hibiki as she defeats her handily. In other words, Hibiki is unstoppable.
What surprised me is that Zina decides to transfer to the same school Hibiki attends. It’s obvious that she wants a revenge match against Hibiki. The funny thing is that she is not in the same class as Hibiki’s, but instead Akemi’s. Also, I find it funny how Hibiki doesn’t know that Zina is staying in the same place where Hibiki lives. I guess Hibiki is not happy that she is living in the same roof as her rival. Then again, they might make a good pairing.
With that, I guess Zina will now train with Hibiki friends at the Silverman Gym. This makes me wonder how their rivalry will play out.
As expected Zina fits in just fine with the rest of the cast.
Every time we see Hibiki’s hidden power I smile.
Yes, definitely given that she is now Hibiki’s rival. But it seems that Machio’s philosophy is probably getting to Hibiki and doesn’t realize it, until that hidden ability she uses on certain occasions.
