After the live performance, Kae decides to join the Lyrical Traditional Dance Club. Now the club only needs one more member. You might be wondering, who will that person be?
It’s only a matter of time until Mizuha asked about those goggles that can read the idol potential. Believe it or not, it works by capturing the image of the person. Afterwards, the goggles send the image to the cloud where machine learning is used to analyze the image to look up information from a database. If you don’t know what Kae is talking about, you aren’t alone.
After Kae uses those goggles to look up Sayu’s potential, Mizuha wants to find someone who have around the same amount as Sayu’s. After Kae looks it up, she finds out that person is Honjo Kasumi. When they confront her, Kasumi greeted them with airsoft guns pointed at them. She doesn’t seem interested in becoming an idol. She won’t allow them to tell why unless they win a survival game match. This is kind of perplexing since she saw the mini live performance. There might be a reason why she doesn’t want to do it.
While at a restaurant, Mana hears a song sung by CoCo Pana. CoCo Pana is a virtual idol that uses Voicenoid, a knockoff of Vocaloid. Mana realizes that the voice sounds very similar. After Kae runs a voice comparison to CoCo Pana’s voice and Kasumi’s, Mana’s suspicions were correct. The voices matched. In other words, they decide to participate in the survival match to find out why. The thing is, will Mana and her friends win?
As for the survival match, Kasumi first eliminates Mizuha. Sayu was a bit reckless as she tries to use herself as a lure and an air-soft pellet hits her shortly after. Mana manages to corner Kasumi but shouldn’t shoot the big air-soft gun properly. In other words, Kasumi was able to eliminate her too and thought she won. Without knowing, Kae is still in the game and Kasumi had a very difficult time shooting her. It’s mostly because of the high-tech traps and distractions that Kae set up. Yes, Kae even uses drones as a distraction as well, which is clever. Eventually, Kae eliminates Kasumi and wins the game. It just shows how amazing Kae is with all that tech.
With that, what was the reason why Kasumi stopped becoming an idol. She thought the competition she won allowed her to become an idol. Instead, she recorded the base voice which the company used for their virtual idol. In other words, Kasumi felt that corporate snatched her idol dream away.
Thankfully, Mana and her friends convinces her to give the idol dream another try. She accepts after Kae shared how she felt after seeing Sayu’s and Mana’s performance. From the looks of it, Kae and Kasumi became friends as well and might make a nice pairing. I guess Kae’s survival fighting skills have to do with it.
Either way, this only leaves one person left. Yes, it’s the student council president, Minori or rather, Mii. It’s obvious that she probably has a thing for Mizuha, but won’t admit it. It’s only a matter of time until Minori joins.
I ship Kasumi X Tae alongside Mana X Sayu. If the recently announced duets are any indication then senpai X fukukaichou will soon follow.
It’s only a matter of time until Mizuha and Minori comes together. After all, Minori is the last girl that haven’t joined yet.
