Now that Mangetsu made up her mind on continuing with her participation in the Granbelm, Anna confronts Fakami. She seems very annoyed.
From the looks of it, it’s obvious that Anna does not get along with Fukami. She calls her a demon. It’s obvious that she is angry that Fukami is ruining her family. We found out the reason why. While Fukami is with Mangetsu, Anna’s mother came out of the car. Apparently, her mom intends to adopt Fukami into the family.
This is surprising since Fukami and Anna got along with each other during their childhood. Now, they are outright enemies. Sure, Anna manages to slap Fukami in the face out of anger. When Mangetsu saw that Fukami red cheek, she doesn’t believe Fukami is a demon. Maybe Anna’s anger has to do with Anna’s mother desire to adopt Fukami.
On the other hand, this might have to do with Fukami’s intensions. She wants to win the Granbelm and use her new mage powers to erase magic and mages from existence. After all, she believes that magic doesn’t need to exist so that the jealousy, hatred and the battle wouldn’t happen. This is probably the reason why Anna have so much hate and jealousy bottled up inside her.
Aside from the family feud between Anna and Fukami, Fukami finally teaches Mangetsu how to use her ARMANOX. After all, she doesn’t want Mangetsu become an easy target. Thankfully, she managed to get used to it before the next full moon. From the second competition so far, Mangetsu managed to fend off Suishou.
As for the battle, it seems that Anna is trying to curb stomp Fukami while Suishou distracts Mangetsu. Then out of nowhere, a new mage, Kuon appears with her own ARMANOX. She attacks both Anna and Fukami. Also, Nene who is hiding somewhere fires her cannon. While we don’t know her target, we’ll find out soon enough.
Besides the battle, there were some cute moments, especially with Mangetsu’s little sister, Kibou and Nene. Sure, Nene is an adult in a body of a girl, she brings Kibou to her house. Apparently Kibou enjoys being with Nene as she eats the fried rice that Nene prepared. Also, for some reason, Kuon is checking if Kibou is a mage descendent. This makes me wonder if she is looking for Mangetsu. We’ll find out next time.

Yes, Kibou and Nene is a cute pairing. But yes, Anna really needs anger management. She is always angry all the time, which makes me wonder if her eyebrows are permanently there.
