Since the next episode of Cinderella Nine is delayed until next week, it’s time to check out the Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita original video animation. This consists of 4 short stories, two in which stands out the most.
To summarize, the first focused on Miyako’s mother taking her daughter and friends on a camping trip. The second part is on how Kouko developed feelings for Miyako. The third story focused on the Halloween party. The last shows a flashback of the events of child Miyako before her mother gave birth to Hinata.
While there is not much to say about the 2nd and 4th part, they have pretty nice moments. It’s nice to see child Miyako become excited over taking care of her new little sister, Hinata. This can explain Hinata’s attachment for her older sister, especially with that promise Miyako made to be friends with her forever. The 2ndpart shows nothing new besides summarizing Kouko’s attraction towards Miyako.
With that, let’s focus on the more exciting part of the original animation. First is of course on the camping trip. It’s quite obvious that Miyako’s mother and Hinata really want Miyako to go on a camping trip. Clearly, she didn’t want to go. Even when they got there, she wanted to go home.
I find it funny how Hinata and her mother came crazy prepared by having a swimsuit and a water proof case for the camera. It’s funny how Miyako will become so desperate to use those “do anything” tickets to avoid getting into the water. Of course, Noa convinces her not to waste those tickets. Either way, it seems that Miyako ended up having a lot of fun on their camping trip. It’s funny how Kouko shows up in camouflage. She really wanted to take a lot of pictures of Miyako.
As for the Halloween party, it’s surprising that Miyako didn’t dress up in one of her many cosplay outfits she made. After all, it would be appropriate during this holiday. Of course, Kouko and Yuu shows up. Yuu begs Miyako to wear the fairy cosplay outfit that Kouko made. Miyako couldn’t resist Yuu’s cute appearance that she decides wear it for her. I have to admit that Miyako looks good in it. Obviously, Kouko seems happy by this.
As for Hinata’s friends, they wore outfits that Miyako imagined on Hana. With that, you have Noa wearing a devil’s costume, Hinata as a wolf, Kanon dresses up as cute witch, and Kayori is a vampire bat. As for Hana, you should predict this by now. She dressed up as a zombie Higero. Why Miyako didn’t thought about that earlier? Either way, she seems somewhat disappointed. Maybe not since it’s Hana after all. Aside from that, this is a fun episode overall.
