It’s obvious that Princess Rona have a huge crush on Yulia now that she is basically in love with her. However, she wants to bond with her party members. As expected, the results are interesting.
From the fifth episode, it’s quite obvious that Rona is in love with Yulia. After all, Yulia is the hero that she was yearning for. Since she is smitten by her, she decides to attend adventurer school to be with her. In other words, besides Yulia, Rona wants to get closer with her party members.
First off is Seria. While Rona praises her studiousness, it’s funny how she eventually looks through her bedroom and see how messy it is. I find it hilarious how Rona manages to praise Seria’s obviously messy room by praising it as a unique sense of aesthetics. While she knows it’s dirty, she can’t bring herself to criticize Yulia’s party members. After all, she wants to become friends with them.
Also, Rona tags along with Mei in her search for rare Cartado cards. Mei eventually takes her to a place where Cartado enthusiasts hang out. I find it funny how after Mei shows her rare Carado, Rona pulls out several rare ones.
The funny part is that Rona has a huge collection of rare Carado cards and only carry a couple for self-defense. It’s expected since she is the princess after all. She even buys out all the rare cards and try to give them to Mei. It’s obvious that Mei wanted them, but turns them down since it doesn’t provide the same satisfaction compared to seeking them out. After all, instant gratification has its drawbacks.
Of course, Rona hanging out with Fai brought an adventure of her own. It’s expected that Rona has to get her hands dirty with Fai climbing trees, sliding off hills with leaves, swimming through rivers and such. Yes, Rona is surprised by how Fai can take this wild trip while being resourceful. Sure, Rona can’t swim, afraid of heights among other things. Thankfully, she survived thanks to Fai helping her get to the destination.
As for where Fai is heading, she wants to participate in an Andas melon eating contest. It’s not too surprising to see her win the last one since her stomach is bottomless. This time, the rules are different since with each team having two participants. In other words, Fai only needs Rona to stand there as she eats.
While it’s smooth sailing in the first round, Rona notices that Fai’s stomach became big. It becomes a problem. In the final round as Fai ate the 29thlive melon, but faints as she can’t eat anymore. With the opposing team catching up, it’s nice to see Rona become bad-ass as she rips her dress and grabs a melon. She manages to finish it before the time is up, thus she and Fai won.
Sure, Rona doesn’t seem to like the melons that Fai ate, she is happy to go on an adventure with her. Fai seems happy that Rona helped her out bring home a win in the competition. While Rona seems embarrassed by what happened during the tip when Fai told her friends what happened, she doesn’t seem to regret it. After all, it’s not every day she goes on a crazy adventure. Not only that, she got to bond with one of Yulia’s party members. With that, from the looks of the next episode, it’s obvious that Rona will spend time with Yulia. This makes me curious what will happen during her bonding time with Yulia.
The best outings were between Rona, Mei and Fai.

Full belly Fai is precious. Rona getting mad street cred for keeping up with her was nice.
Hopefully next time we’ll get more Yusha X Rona.
Agreed, Yes, it definitely got everyone jealous when Rona offered to give all the rare Carado. As they say, instant gratification isn’t the best thing to chase after as the satisfaction will be short lived. Still, Rona’s time with Fai was very enjoyable and shows that she is capable.
But yes, can’t wait to see more Yulia and Rona.
