As the cultural festival comes near, Hina tries to convince Sayo to do some joint cultural festival activities between the two schools.
After watching Afterglow and Poppin’ Party perform at the festival last time, Hina really wants to do cultural festival activities together between the two schools. While Rinko and Sayo seems hesitant to do so at first, they eventually went along with the plan.
Despite Pastel*Palettes as a whole can’t perform at the cultural festival, Hina knows a work around. Yes, it involves creating a temporary band to make it look like it’s not the actual band. From this, I wonder how this will work out and what song they will perform. Regardless, it seems that Yukina doesn’t want to participate in any of this.
Meanwhile, Poppin’ Party starts planning for their self-sponsored event, which is one month away. It seems that Kasumi wants to perform during the cultural festival too. This doesn’t come at a surprise since it’s Poppin’ Party’s first real performance. Still, it seems that Tae is out of it. She feels that she lacks experience and believes that practice sessions are not enough. To her, only actual performances can help. This doesn’t come as a surprise since she felt the same way after they performed at the Roselia event.
From this, Kasumi suggests doing a daily mini show. This can help a lot since at least the audience can listen to her. At the same time, she gains experience performing in front of a crowd. One night, when she performed, a certain someone shows up and started singing. This is the same woman that we saw last time, which goes by the name of Layer is one of Tae’s childhood friends. She decided to move back during spring after six years. Still, it’s interesting that the song they sung together is the one they sung a long time ago.
From the looks of it, Layer has joined a band after being a supporting musician. While she sounds disappointed that she couldn’t form a band together with Tae, at least she is in one. This involves that girl named CHU2, who became angry at Yukina several episodes earlier.
Now, it seems that she has new members. This includes that delinquent looking blond-haired lady, Masuki who goes by the name of Masking. Next to CHU2 is a girl with multi-colored hair with streaks who wear her hair in twin-tails who goes by the stage name, Pareo. Still, I wonder who will be the last member. Maybe Rokka might be the last member as she is still looking for a band to join. We’ll find out soon enough.
