At last, Hinata, Hana and Noa creates a Sugoroku game as a class assignment. It’s obvious where this is going.
At last, we see Kanon and Kayori. They are apparently class representatives who explain the assignment. It’s funny how everyone asks Kanon questions instead of Kayori. No wonder she becomes so upset. This makes me wonder why everyone go to Kanon instead. Is Kayori not as smart or clumsy? We have to wait and see.
Still, I find it funny how Kayori thinks that Hinata’s older sister is smart, pretty and amazing. It’s obvious that Hinata looks up to her sister, more on that later. Even so, it’s funny how Kayori gives that description. Sure, she is right about Miyako being smart since her 5th grade report card said that she had great grades. Also, while subjective, Miyako looks cute, especially when she wears that White Lily cosplay.
Even so, I am not sure about the amazing part of it given how shy Miyako is and how she acts around Hana. Sure, she can make great sweets and cute cosplay, but her timid personality leaves a lot to be desired. Once Kayori and Kanon sees how Miyako reacts when she is around Hana, they might change their minds.
As for the Sugoroku that Hinata, Noa and Hana made, it’s what you expect. While this isn’t as absurd compared to the one in Asobi Asobase, it’s still had cute moments. Apparently, it’s themed after Miyako to treat her shyness by having her do simple interactions to Hinata and her friends. This consists of greeting them with a smile, complimenting and even hugging someone. I find it funny how Miyako becomes excited when she saw hug someone on the board.
From this, she thinks that this is an opportunity to possibly hug Hana. While she struggles to greet and complement Hinata and Noa respectively, things are different with Hana. She gets a bit creepy when she tries to hug Hana when Hana told her not to. In the end, Hana ends up hitting Miyako. Still, it’s interesting that on Miyako’s grade school report card, teachers thought she is smart, but have a hard time greeting people and socializing.
In the second half, we learn the reason why Hinata obsesses over her older sister. Things got rough initially when Miyako refused to allow Hinata sleep with her. It’s mostly because she was busy with making cosplay. The next day when Hana and Noa came over, Miyako focuses her attention on them instead of her younger sister. She left Hinata out of the cosplay fun, which causes her to become upset. It’s understandable to see why. Then again, doesn’t Hinata play with Miyako often when Hana and Noa isn’t around?
Then again, it’s not too surprising to see why Hinata looks up to Miyako. Besides her mother, Hinata is the other person that Hinata first saw. Given that Miyako and Hinata spend a lot of time together, it’s easy to see why they are so close. While Hinata kind of obsesses over her older sister, I guess she is the reason Miyako can interact with Hinata’s friends and get closer to Hana. Hopefully someday, Miyako can get over her shyness.
Hinata’s been my favorite kid since the premiere. This episode solidified her status as the best one.
If the next episode is about swimsuits I REALLY HOPE all three moms will be there.
Hinata is the best girl, besides Noa of course.
Not likely since Noa’s and Hana’s moms haven’t appeared yet.
Stupid clingy Hinata deserved to be ignored by Mya-nee/ Miyako because of her annoying obsession with her.
