Now that Sophie met Hinata, she decides to go over to her house for a visit.
Sophie’s shipment of dakimakuras arrived, but they don’t fit in the coffin. Because of this, she couldn’t sleep. After Akari finished talking to Hinata on the phone, she invites Sophie to come over to Hinata’s house. Sophie doesn’t know what she should wear. Akari suggest wearing a frilly dress she picked out. Sadly, Sophie decides to wear what she usually does.
While visiting Hinata’s house, they went up to her bed room talking about families. Sophie mentions how a daughter turned her whole family into vampires with the family complaining for hundreds of years. Hinata mentions her little brother spending time playing video games and getting mad at her. Hinata eventually welcomes Sophie to visit her anytime.
The next day, Sophie finds out that Akari left her lunch on the table. She decides to go to the school to deliver it to her. Aside from meeting the rest of Akari’s friends, she decides to stand in for a classmate. After school, they had a study session and eventually stopped by a bookstore before heading home.
I find it funny how Sophie can’t sleep without all those dakimakuras. Sure, it’s kind of creepy for her to have that many, but it shows the downside of sleeping in a coffin. That said, it’s surprising that she never went over a friend’s house before. It’s understandable since she doesn’t have many friends as a result of being a vampire.
Still, it’s nice to see Sophie become emotionally moved when she step foot into Hinata’s house. Sadly, Mikan, Hinata’s dog scares her. How she scares Sophie kind of looks like Owner’s sadistic look from Blend S. Not to mention, they kind of look very similar, with the latter being bigger and male. Then again, Mikan probably scared of vampires.
It’s interesting to learn about Hinata’s and Akari’s family. Apparently, Hinata and her younger brother, Mikage don’t get along. I can see why. He plays video games all day long and Hinata steals his snacks. Even the potato chips that Akari and Hinata is eating is also stolen. On the other hand, Akari doesn’t get along with her father because of those dolls. I can see why since they also scared Hinata. Maybe that is the reason they allow their daughter to stay with Sophie.
The story Sophie shared to Hinata and Akari about a vampire daughter taking her family down is silly. Apparently, Sophie shares a heartwarming picture of that family, which of course doesn’t reveal the whole story. The members of that girl’s family complained about their bodies before turning into vampires. I guess this constant complaining can get very tiring, especially if they do it constantly for hundreds of years.
I have to admit that when Akari mentions a story where a thirteen-year-old girl goes out with her mother to food shopping, Hinata assumes that Akari is a wife of someone. It’s kind of obvious that she has a thing for Akari and won’t give her up easily. It gets funnier when they talk about Hinata becoming an older sister with Akari and Sophie as her little sisters. That will probably get Cocoa jealous. Then again, how Sophie view’s how older sister should act towards a little one is hilarious. It’s obvious that she gets her interpretations from late-night anime she watches.
After Sophie visits a friend’s house for the first time, it’s obvious that she finds her life boring. After reading all those books about the daily life of high school girls and realizing that her life is similar to those of senior citizens, I can see why. Sure, she had bad experiences with school life, but she decides to give it another try by delivering Akari’s forgotten lunch.
The classmates’ reaction when they saw Sophie was hilarious. Given that Sophie is wearing all black and a hood, it’s not surprising. I find it funny how the classmates freaked out thinking that Sophie is an assassin. Sure, she kind of looks like one since the assassins, especially the ones from Assassin’s Creed all wear hoods. Thankfully, Akari stepped in to deescalate the situation, although she is upset that part of Sophie’s hair is gone. Don’t worry, it will grow back by nightfall.
While Sophie is at school, she decides to give school life another try. It’s funny how the teacher freaks out that one of her students look different. Thankfully, Sophie went through the school day without being noticed. Still, it’s amazing that she knows all the materials that Akari’s friends asked her during study session. After all, Sophie was at some of the historical events with another fellow vampire who is blond-haired. She will make her first appearance next time.
Aside from that, while Sophie had bad experiences with high school life, spending time with Akari’s friends changed her mind. I guess things are better when Sophie spends time with Akari.
Sophie and Akari slowly but surely are growing closer to each other. Poor Hinata has to settle for being a third wheel, unless blondie vampire goes after her. Speaking of I’m pumped for her debut next time.
Also Sakuya X Yuu are a nice side-couple.
It’s sad that Hinata is stuck in a love triangle of some sort with Akari’s attention taking her attention away. The blonde vampire might make it into a love square next. Either way, it should be interesting to learn more about her.
