Now that Hizume decides to help make Kohane’s dream become a reality, there is one other member they need to recruit. Yes, it’s Uki.
While daydreaming in class, Kohane imagines herself performing at a cheerleading competition. However, she comes to a sad realization with her fear of heights. After class, Kohane wants to show her progress on the rooftop to Uki. After school, she does some training with Hizume, which is mostly consists of physical strength tests. As expected, Kohane did badly. After a week of training, Uki notices that Kohane is worn out and suggests Hizume to do something else besides training. They decide to make pom-poms instead.
In the second half, Kohane tries to persuade Uki to join. However, Uki is still on the fence on whether or not to join. Hizume suggests to Kohane to show actual cheerleading to Uki. She eventually brought Uki to the rooftop to show Hizume’s performance. Uki became amazed by her performance and decides to join.
Given how ditzy Kohane is, it is expected that she would order an outfit that shows a lot of skin. I find Uki’s reaction when she saw where her friend ordered the cheerleading outfit priceless. There is no wonder why she is worried about Kohane all the time, especially when she injures herself without realizing it. Regardless, it seems that Hizume doesn’t want to wear that outfit either and finds it a mockery of cheerleading.
As for the training, Hizume is not playing around. She had Kohane do stretches, sprints and jumping in a physical strength test. As expected, they are poor, but it seems that this kind of training is actually demotivates Kohane. She wants to do cheerleading, not a bunch of physical exercises. Then again, she doesn’t want Kohane lose interest, or she will become lonely. After all, she doesn’t want to become alone.
The funny thing about Uki is that while she enjoys making pom-poms with Kohane and Hizume, she doesn’t want to do it. Sure, she kind of interested in the idea of doing cheerleading as she poses with pom-poms in front of a mirror. Shortly after, she denies it. Don’t worry, she will join no matter what. Kohane will pester her to join, which doesn’t quite work out as planned.
What does work out is showing the actual thing to Uki. As expected, it was enough for Uki to convince herself to do it. Apparently, the only thing she had problems with is the skirt’s length being too short on the cheerleading outfits. Still, it’s quite obvious that Uki likes cute outfits given her reaction. Aside from that, I wonder about the two remaining members that have yet to join. For sure, the red hair girl who Uki talked to might be their next member.
Uki likes Kohane and no one in the Nation is surprised by this. Kohane seeing Uki as cute and sexy is also nice.
Best girl so far is Arima because her actions and reactions are hilarious.
It’s not so surprising given how she reacted when she finds out where Kohane ordered those outfits. It can’t get any more obvious when she posed in front of the mirror while holding pom-pom’s that Kohane made.
But yes, it’s obvious that Hizume doesn’t want to be alone again, which is probably why she is pushing Uki to join, maybe.
