From last time, Satou promises to show Shouko where she lives. However, Shouko is in for a shocking surprise.
While Daichi fantasies what Satou actually did to her aunt, Satou takes Shouko to her aunt’s apartment. In front of the door is two police officers that noticed a strange smell coming from her unit. When Satou unlocked the door, her aunt, who is very much alive comes out and lets the officers in to check the apartment. They didn’t find anything bad, except one of the rooms that is unsanitary.
Satou’s aunt tries to seduce a male police officer and asks him to hit her. Eventually, the female officer has to step in to stop her before they left. This leaves Shouko in disbelief when her aunt tries to make a move on her before Satou stopped her. When they left, Satou asks if Shouko will still be her friend despite being raised by her aunt? Eventually, she tells her to forget everything. She wants her to go back to being friends like they used to. She tells off her homeroom teacher before returning to her actual apartment.
As expected, it’s obvious that Satou is suspicious of Shouko. It’s clear that she wants to help Asahi find his little sister. Moreover, what Satou is getting herself into worries Shouko. This means that she will become a threat towards Satou’s Happy Sugar Life. This can explain why she have Shouko meet her aunt to test her friendship. If she knew how her aunt raised her, Shouko will stop worrying about her. Sadly, it ends up having the opposite effect. More on that later.
From the looks of it, Satou’s aunt is, well creepy. Her definition of love is very twisted. Moreover, she is willing to fall in love with anyone. It becomes obvious when she tries to seduce a male police officer and entice him to make love with her. She even believes that someone slapping her is love.
Either way, Satou is trying to tell Shouko that she is not normal because of her upbringing by her aunt. Aside from her twisted version of love, without the bandages, she would have pretty good looks. In a way, it’s a test of friendship, which didn’t go well. Aside from her personality, the bandages make her look creepy. Satou will definitely need to spend time with Shio to recover after dealing with her aunt.
This is where Shouko’s dilemma comes in. She knows that Satou is not normal. Now that she knows how Satou’s aunt raises Satou, this worries her more. Moreover, she doesn’t have the courage or the strength to fully support her and not be constantly concerned about her friend’s well-being. Knowing Satou’s personality, this won’t end well for Shouko if she interferes with her Happy Sugar Life.
Either way, from the looks of the preview, we will finally know how Satou managed to get the apartment. This should be interesting to find out next time.
Did not expect to see Auntie alive and well and…yeah she made Satou look like a barking chihuahua in comparison to her psychotic rottweiler. Deliciously terrifying.
Poor Shoko. She wasn’t strong enough to face the darkness with Satou and may have destroyed all hope of ever getting close to her again.
Serves that accursed teacher right. Trying to outsmart the master. Satou’s been preparing herself to face the cruel cruel world for many years living in a chaotic pocket dimension.
Yes, Satou’s aunt is a mystery, but it can explain why she doesn’t want to live with her since her personality is far from normal. Poor Shoko, having to deal with this. But I think she will most definitely continue meddling, which won’t end well for her.
Let’s hope she doesn’t lose her sanity.
