While Sakura wakes up after collapsing from last time, Eriol shares some stuff about Kaito to Kero and Yue.
When Touya came back, his father tells him what happened to Sakura. Meanwhile, Eriol reveals to Yue and Kero that Kaito have been excommunicated from the Magicians’ Society. He apparently stole an artifact and the society never went after him since they feared his powers. He also reveals that the Clear Cards that Sakura captured is her creation, which makes her powerful, but chaotic. All the sudden, a strange force attacks Eriol, thus cutting his communication with Kero and Yue. However, he was able to withstand Kaito’s attack.
Before Sakura and Syaoran returns home, Sakura’s grandfather gave Sakura a key that Nadeshiko kept. It contained a special key. On the way home, Sakura was thinking what Syaoran that she is seeing and the Syaoran he sees are different. She wished that she had a mirror so she can see her real self.
When Sakura tries to go inside her home, she noticed her house is flipped like a mirror. After capturing the Mirror card, she uses the flight card and the mirror card so she can fly with Syaoran. Syaoran promises that he won’t Sakura become unhappy knowing that too much power can cause this feeling.
From the looks of it, it’s obvious that Kaito Yuna is up to no good. Given that he stole an artifact, which causes the Magician Society to excommunicate him, this should raise a red flag. Given how powerful Kaito as he manages to damage Eriol’s magician rod shows that he is very strong. It’s apparent that Sakura will have a hard time when she confronts him. Thankfully, she has Syaoran and others to help her out if she needs it.
What is interesting about this episode is about the mirror thing. Sakura talks about wanting to know her real self is interesting. This doesn’t come at a surprise since she had people worry about her when something happens. If she understands her real self, she is able to stop people from worrying about her. To me, this may be because of Sakura’s powers.
It’s understandable that Sakura doesn’t truly understand her powers or rather control her powers, which are immensely strong. Syaoran, Yue, Kero and Erol finally notices that Sakura is actually creating each Clear Card she captures. It’s obvious that they are going to worry since having too much power can cause someone to become unhappy. With Syaoran’s promise, there is hope that Sakura’s powers won’t go out of control.
Even so, I have to admit that seeing Sakura fly with Syaoran in the sunset sky is a nice scene to end off the episode. With one episode left, I don’t think there is a concrete conclusion since the manga series is ongoing. Still, I wonder if the key will be crucial in stopping Kaito’s scheme. We will know next time.
