At last, the day have come for Suzuka’s comeback race. Will she make it after spending a year recovering from her injuries?
As Suzuka prepares for her comeback race while Special continues her preparations for the Japan Cup, there is news that Broye will participate in the Japan Cup. The Trainer and Trainer Hana eventually witnesses how fast she is. After looking at the time from the stop watch, they become surprised. They saw how fast Broye is and believed that she can even overcome the fastest horse girl on Team Rigil. Meanwhile, El Pasa tries to help Special out by giving her a notebook containing research on Broye. However, Special wants to figure this out on her own.
Meanwhile, while Suzuka walks the halls, she talks to Ryan along with three other girls cheering her on. Meanwhile, Sun Visor becomes annoyed and walks away. On the day of the Open Special, she confronts Suzuka and says that she will be the star in this race.
When the race started, Suzuka was in last place until towards the end when she caught up to everyone, including Sun Visor. Sun Visor couldn’t catch up to Suzuka as she crossed the finish line in first place. Special is happy that the Suzuka she knew is now back as the other students at the academy gathered around her to congratulate her.
I have to admit that I never expect Broye to come to Japan and race in the Japan Cup. I suppose that she wanted a challenge after she raced El Pasa in France. Of course, this will pose a challenge for Special since she made a promise with Suzuka to win the Japan Cup. Still, it’s nice to see El Pasa offering to help Special out despite rejecting it.
Also, it’s nice to see the girls remind the Trainer of the promise he made to them. Nevertheless, what is interesting is what happened before Suzuka went out of the field. The Trainer admits to hiding the fact that Suzuka might not be able to race again. He didn’t tell her because his team members, especially Special believed that Suzuka can fully recover.
As for Sun Visor, it’s obvious that she is probably a tsundere and overconfident into believing she can win. Given what she said to Suzuka makes her look stuck up. The funny thing is that her bad sportsmanship causes her to lose. It’s to be expected since it’s Suzuka after all. Still, it’s amusing to me that the queen of tsundere, Kugimiya Rie voices Sun Visor. Even from listening her voice, it’s quite obvious.
Either way, I have to admit that the race was somewhat suspenseful. Nobody expected Suzuka to be in last place for most of the race. From this, everyone felt that she wasn’t going to make it until the end when she went to first in an instant. Still, it’s nice to see everyone cheer her on while she caught up to everyone and even overtook Sun Visor. Yes, the trainer was in tears as he saw Suzuka taking first place and pass the finish line.
With Suzuka’s promise fulfilled, will Special be able to fulfill hers? Surely, winning will be difficult one given how fast Broye is. Hopefully, she will make it as we find out next week.
You said Sun Visor had a familiar seiyu. Mind refreshing my memory?
Suzuka’s comeback was suspenseful and exhilarating! Great stuff!
Special and Suzuka supporting each other was totes adorbs.
Best Horse being Best Horse as usual.
Broye has very nice legs. So sexy.
Sun Visor is voiced by Kugimiya Rie, you know, she voices a bunch of popular tsundere characters such as Shana, Taiga, Aria, etc.
But yes, it’s nice to see Suzuka’s comeback.
