Sakura and Tomoyo spends time at Tomoyo’s house as she shows off her new high-tech gadget. However, a strange wind blows over and it wants to play tag. What is it?
Sakura at last pays a visit to Tomoyo’s house. As expected, Tomoyo came prepared with tons of outfits. Not only that, Tomoyo’s mom, Sonomi is happy that Sakura came to visit. Unfortunately, she couldn’t stay long since she has other things to do.
Either way, Tomoyo shows off her new tech toy. In the past, she became disappointed after missing some of action from Sakura. This time, she came up with an invention that will allow her to record every moment anywhere. Yes, it’s a portable and compact drone. Now, she can use her smart phone to control the drone and record anything at any location. This makes me wonder how she received the idea for a drone from. The record clear card since it has wings?
Aside from that, Sakura finally demonstrates the record card as Tomoyo records it with her drone. After summoning the card, a camera appears motionless. It’s not until Sakura gives it commands that it captures an image of Sakura and projects it. While it’s not useful in recording Sakura’s action, it can be useful to create a decoy.
Eventually, Syaoran came to Tomoyo’s house. Of course, Syaoran starts to blush after Tomoyo points out how cute Sakura is with her new outfit. Of course, Tomoyo recorded him and Sakura both blushes. Eventually, Sakura share what the record card does.
After a while, Sakura notices something strange. This is probably the first time in a long time that Syaoran tries to attack the strange presence. Obviously, it didn’t work and Sakura had to chase it in the hedge maze. The true shape of the card looks like a transparent ribbon. Given its agility and transparency, it’s very difficult to capture with force. Even Sakura’s attempt of using the action card to have the rose bushes capture the card with the vines didn’t work. I have to admit that it’s funny seeing the rose bushes become tangled with each other. While capturing with force is a no-go, there is one thing that does work. Yes, it’s the power of friendship.
The eighth card is named “Flight.” Tomoyo and Syaoran eventually catches up to Sakura. After they left the maze, Sakura tried out the card and it allows her to fly with the ribbons becoming wings. At least Tomoyo is happy to be able to record Sakura’s experience with the flight card using the drone. Still, I wonder what improvements she will make to it given it’s a prototype.
Aside from that, next time, Sakura and Tomoyo appears to visit Akiho’s place. I wonder what mysteries will lie regarding the dreams that Sakura saw lately.
