Slow Start – Episode 7 – Hairpins and Eiko’s Secret

February 18, 2018 by Chikorita157 3 Comments
Eiko wearing a lot of hair pins for her birthday.

It’s obvious that Eiko is strengthening her female harem. This time, it’s with Kiyose surprisingly.

Tama and Hana shipping keeps on going.

Today, it’s Eiko’s birthday and I find it amusing that Eiko is wearing tons of hair pins. Even Tama and Hana gifted hairpins for her too. It’s cute that Eiko calls Hana a good girl. Eventually, Hana say that Tama is a good girl too and Tama hugs Hana. The Tama and Hana shipping keeps on going strong. Also, Kiyose gifts Eiko a paper clip as a hair pin. Of course, Kiyose ended up telling Eiko to take off all the hair pins. It’s obvious that Kiyose wants in on Eiko’s harem. Too bad Kiyose won’t become her friend when Eiko graduates.

Kamuri gifts Eiko a handmade ring.

Aside from the hairpins, Kamuri gifts Eiko a ring she made herself. I have to admit that this moment is adorable and heartwarming. Still, it seems that Eiko won’t tell where she buys the hairpins from. It will become obvious towards the end of the episode.

Kiyose’s friend helping a drunk Kiyose.

After Eiko walked home, she finds herself at Kiyose’s apartment. Kiyose wakes up from a hangover and sees Eiko sleeping on the floor. She wonders why Eiko is there with her hands tied up. Apparently, Eiko found Kiyose drunk while Kiyose’s friend tries to walk her back to the apartment. Eiko decides to walk her back.

Things become a bit hot for Eiko and Kioyse. Thankfully, it’s nothing more than an accident.

I find it funny how she decided to tie Eiko’s hand because she didn’t trust her. She actually believes that Eiko might draw on her face or something.  Still, the whole thing is pretty awkward given that Kiyose have hots for her. Thankfully, Eiko helped Kiyose make coffee while she took a shower before changing and heading to school.

Eiko becomes curious about Kiyose’s necklace.

That morning, Hana brings the handouts to Kiyose and Eiko had the last sheet that Hana forgot. It’s amusing how Eiko forces Kiyose to say good morning before she gives it to her. Also, they saw that Kiyose bought a necklace, which Eiko becomes curious about. Apparently, Kiyose bought it at a shop while killing time with her friend.

Hana eventually asks Eiko what she is talking about with Kiyose. Eiko takes her to the secret spot. Apparently, Eiko made the necklace. In fact, she makes accessories as a hobby and sells them at her parent’s shop. This explains why she wears stylish hair pins. Hana wonders if Kiyose bought it because she liked it.

Eiko hugs Hana as a show of gratitude.

Either way, Eiko seems happy that someone bought something that she made who is a teacher. Hana is happy for Eiko as she cries. Hana wonders if she is able to share her secret with her friends someday since she has friends. Either way, it’s a nice moment between the two.

A new challenger appeared and what an impact she made! Team Kamuri vs Team Sensei will be a most interesting battle for the #1 spot in Eiko’s harem as both sides have their advantages over the other.

Given that a good number of girls may have romantic feelings for Eiko, it’s not surprising. It’s nice to see more bonding time with Eiko and Kiyose. It’s not surprising since Kiyose probably have the hots for Eiko, but won’t admit it. It may be the big age difference.

Still, I think Eiko and Kamuri is the preferred pairing since they are adorable together.

She might develop feelings for her but not yet.

So you are on Team Kamuri. That’s cool.
