After Himeko tells Yuzu that she crossed the line, Yuzu becomes jealous. She soon realizes that this is not necessarily the case.
From last time, Himeko managed to annoy Yuzu. During lunch, they were fighting over who Mei should have lunch with. In the end, Mei ended up having them eat lunch without her. I guess Mei’s decision disappoints them.
While Yuzu and Himeko is saddened that they couldn’t eat lunch with Mei, Harumi came. I find it funny how Harumi feeds Yuzu and then Himeko. Yes, it’s an indirect kiss of some sort, which is kind of funny. Also, Harumi brought amusement park tickets. In fact, she has four of them. It’s obvious that Himeko dreams of taking Mei on a date. While Himeko day dreamed, Yuzu took two of the tickets. It’s obvious that she is determined to win over Mei.
Either way, it seems that Yuzu have an advantage. She managed to invite Mei to visit her own father. Still, I wonder why Mei doesn’t want to read the letters from her father. It becomes clear towards the end of the episode.
The next day, Yuzu and Mei took a train to their destination. I find it funny how Yuzu thought that Himeko was there, but just hallucinating instead. Either way, there are some nice moments with Yuzu saving Mei from the crowd of people leaving. Yuzu even licked Mei’s ear when she was close to her in a crowded train.
Nevertheless, Mei doesn’t seem happy about Yuzu’s behavior. Thankfully, Yuzu was able to make it up with some crapes, although she couldn’t do an indirect kiss. Or rather, Mei took frosting that was on Yuzu’s cheeks and ate it. I guess that is close enough. As you would expect, Yuzu couldn’t think about anything else except Mei.
On their way to their destination, Himeko finally finds Yuzu and Mei. She doesn’t seem happy at all that Yuzu lied to her. She accuses Yuzu that she forced Mei to do whatever she wants. Thankfully, Mei draws a line and tells Himeko not to interfere and not misinform Yuzu. Understandably, this annoys Himeko.
Either way, Yuzu shows Mei Yuzu’s father grave. This is when Mei finds out that Yuzu’s father passed away. Either way, it’s nice to see Mei pay respects to Yuzu’s father. While Yuzu couldn’t kiss Mei, she finds out that Mei needs family more than love now. I guess Mei’s humanly smile causes Yuzu to realize this.
The next day, Himeko saw Mei collapse. Yuzu came to help her, but Mei wants to attend the meeting. Mei even refuses Himeko’s help. In the end, Yuzu convinces Himeko to attend while she brings Mei to the nurse’s office. It seems that Mei overworks herself, which causes a fever. If only her father came back, she doesn’t have to become the successor of the academy yet. Thankfully, Mei’s fever went down and she make up with Himeko the next day. Things are all good, right?
Towards the end of the episode, while Yuzu is with Mei, someone came into the door. Yuzu thought it’s her mother, but it was someone else. It’s Yuzu’s new father and Mei’s father. As expected, Mei is shocked that her father is back just like that. Either way, it makes me wonder if Mei will be able to mend her relationship with her father. Also, I wonder why he traveled around the world for a long time. We have to wait and see next time.
