After managing to capture Siege, the next day, it started to rain heavily. Sakura and Tomoyo eventually notices that something strange is happening with the rain. What is it?
Before classes started, Sakura told Syaoran that she captured her second clear card, Siege. Of course, without Tomoyo’s help, she wouldn’t be able capture it. Obviously, Tomoyo is happy to be able to record Sakura capturing the card.
As the title of the episode suggests, it started to rain lightly when there is no rain in the forecast. As the day wore on, Sakura notices that something is strange, especially when she and Tomoyo were heading back home. The rain didn’t let up. Instead, it became like a waterfall, which made it impossible to see the road ahead. They took cover in the Gazebo when Sakura notices her key is shining.
Of course, Tomoyo came prepared with a costume for Sakura that she plans to finish during the break, but didn’t. It’s a frog-themed costume, which looked cute on Sakura. Since the costume repels rain, it should help keep Sakura dry, for the most part.
With the help of Gale, she reveals the card. She also used Siege to contain it. With that, Sakura is able to capture the 3rd card. Yes, its name is Aqua, which is the source of the unusual rain. It will become useful in the second half. Of course, Tomoyo managed to capture video of Sakura capturing the card despite the water. Yes, she came crazy prepared by waterproofing the camcorder. As always, Kero played video games while Sakura captured the card instead of looking after the room.
In the second half, Sakura and Chiharu had cheerleading practice. While Sakura tied her shoe, she notices that everyone disappeared. It’s obvious that she has to capture the fourth card, but revealing it is difficult due to the card reflecting her attack. In other words, she used the new card, Aqua to reveal it.
Just like that, she captures Reflect, the fourth card. I find it funny how Aqua’s powers dumped all the water on Sakura after she used it. It looks as if Sakura is having a bad week by chance. Either way, Syaoran came over and wondered what is wrong. He finds out that Sakura captured another clear card.
By now, Sakura is probably sick of getting wet. Of course, she saw the strange masked being as she suddenly faints in her bedroom. As expected, it wanted to take the key away. Thankfully, Kero managed to bring Sakura’s consciousness back. The disturbing thing is the figure is outside looking at her bedroom’s window. I wonder if it has to do with the mysterious transfer student in the next episode. We have to wait until next week to find out.
