After the kiss from last time, Yuzu eventually noticed something is up with Mei. What will she do about it.
From last time, Mei kisses Yuzu and of course, Yuzu is not happy about Mei taking her first kiss taken away from her. Still, there are some instances where Mei have some feelings for Yuzu in this episode. In particular, they managed to fall into the fountain while their mother takes them out somewhere.
When Yuzu and Mei took a bath together, Mei eventually grabs Yuzu’s wrist and proceeds to lick her neck. She thought that Yuzu wanted to touch her. It’s apparent the love is one-sided for now until Yuzu realizes Mei’s feelings towards the end.
The next day, the chairman, or rather their grandfather is there at the school. As expected, Yuzu caused a big commotion with her grandfather, who is overly strict. He told her to leave after causing trouble. Thankfully, with Harumi’s help, they sneaked in by climbing a wall.
After climbing the wall, they overheard Amiyama’s plan to marry Mei to get the riches and eventually dump her. It’s what I expected from last time. From this, the kiss from last episode is in no doubt was forcefully done just to make it seem that they are in an intimate relationship. When Yuzu tells Mei about this, she already knows this fact. In short, Mei tells Yuzu that she doesn’t understand love.
While Yuzu and Mei is sleeping, Yuzu wakes up. When she attempts to kiss Mei, Mei called for her “father” in her sleep. Not to mention, she was also crying as well. It’s obvious that Mei doesn’t like her grandfather, especially when he pushes a man that she doesn’t even love on her. It’s apparent that she wants her father to come home instead. She doesn’t like the pressure that her grandfather gives.
After realizing Mei’s suffering, Yuzu does the “Hail Mary” and leaks Amiyama’s secret plan to the whole student body while saying that she is the chairman’s granddaughter. Of course, this threw a monkey wrench into Amiyama’s and the chairman’s plans. Amiyama resigned from his job as a result. Obviously, the chairman is not having this and forcefully took Mei back into his care. If only Ume’s husband wasn’t traveling around the world, he could have stopped this from happening.
With that, a week went by and Yuzu seems depressed over what happened to Mei. Despite her attempts to get Mei’s attention, it fails. Thankfully, she manages to find her last chance at it. She finds Mei’s luggage bag in her room. She brings it back to her and eventually asks her why she decide to live with her grandfather when she is sad about it. Yuzu also mentions about Mei calling for her father over and over in her sleep.
Finally, Mei is not having it anymore and pushes Yuzu on to her the bed. Mei proceeds to unbutton Yuzu’s shirt before she started crying. While this make it seem that she is crying because she is upset, but no. She is tearing up since she is happy to see Yuzu again. Of course, the grandfather comes into the room during their heartwarming moment. Understandably, he becomes upset. Despite Mei being the one that unbutton Yuzu’s shirt and hugging Yuzu, he becomes upset at Yuzu instead.
With that, he proceeds to expel her, which is absolutely ridiculous since she hasn’t broken any school rules to justify this. Given that this is a family matter, I highly doubt this is going to stick. I 100% believe that someone or even Yuzu’s father will reinstate her. Not to mention, Mei’s and Yuzu’s father and the academy’s president will eventually hear about what happened. To put it short, it’s going to be pretty for the grandfather and he will have to reverse it.
Either way, things look like a mess for Yuzu. Her grandfather unjustly expelled her while controlling every aspect of Mei’s life for his own interest. Thankfully, Harumi is there to support her. Hopefully, things will sort itself out for Yuzu now that she realizes Mei’s feelings after all this time. The question is, how does she set things right? How does she convey her feelings to Mei? We have to wait until next week.
This episode was further proof that Harumin is best girl with Yuzu coming in at a close second. Seriously, Harumin is bliss. Good thing it didn’t take long for Yuzu to realize she’d fallen in love with Mei.
Agreed. It’s quite obvious that Yuzu seem to have feelings for Mei. It only took Mei moving out of the apartment to realize this.
Righto dood.
