On Maika’s way to work, she finds an abandoned dog that have the same eyes as her. Will she be able to find a new home for it?
In the beginning of the episode, Maika talked to one of her friends in class. I find it funny how her friend asks if Mika is dating Dino. Maika says no and of course, her friend questions her behavior with Dino since it looks strange. I guess Maika’s obliviousness to love and Dino’s inability to convey his feelings probably for the best.
While Maika walked to the café, she found a dog in a box. It says “take me home” written on it. Given its cuteness, she couldn’t say no and took it to the café. Of course, nobody can take it. Dino wants to give It up to adoption until Maika begs him to keep the dog. Of course, since the dog have the same eyes as Maika’s, he can’t say no. Maika calls the dog “Owner”, which makes it superior over Dino.
After showing Koyo and Maika his apartment, they go back to work. It’s funny how he hides all his anime figures, but Owner threatens one of the figurines if Dino doesn’t walk it. Not only that, he has to carry the poop when Owner does its business. Of course, Dino taking care of the dog takes most of the time away from his anime watching. Koyo almost spoils the anime Dino is watching as well since Dino couldn’t stay up to watch it. Either way, Mafuyu seems satisfied by this since Dino is now closer to having a normal life
With that, Maika wants to treat him to some sweets for his good work taking care of the dog. Of course, he likes them and Maika decides to make more. This is where Aika comes in. Apparently, she wants to visit Maika’s work place. This can mean one thing, right? Aika can see Maika in her sadistic character.
The next day, Aika made a grand appearance with bodyguards as well. I find it funny how she calls Maika over at every moment. Of course, this becomes detrimental to Maika serving other customers since Aika is distracting her. I guess this is bound to happen since Aika never went to a café before. Then again, she probably did it to bring out her character.
During Maika’s break, Kaho and Hideri talk about Maika’s older sister’s eyes. With that, Maika becomes depressed because her eyes are extremely slanted. While Dino cheers her up, I find it funny how Aika comes over to threaten him with a spear for making her little sister cry. I know this misunderstanding will happen since Dino is a butt monkey. Thankfully, Maika clears things up with her older sister. On the other hand, Kouchi, Maika’s older brother seems disappointed that his little sister didn’t invite her.
As a whole, it’s a funny episode, especially in the end. Apparently, Dino gained a lot of weight thanks to Maika giving him sweets. I find it funny how everyone makes fun of his fat stomach. Of course, Dino denies it until Maika reveals the culprit. With that, Mafuyu forces him to lose weight. That is easy since he needs to walk Owner every day. I guess it’s a good thing Dino kept the dog or otherwise, he would become obese.
