Now that graduation day comes, Nina receives a letter from ALCA. Lion and her friends become worried that Nina will leave them. Will she actually do it?
During homeroom days before graduation, the teachers finds out who took their crabs. Of course, they figured out that it’s Nina and Lion did it. Thankfully, they didn’t receive any punishment. After class, the girls find out that Nina got a letter from the ALCA. Nina saving Lion impresses the ALCA so much that they are willing to let her rejoin.
Of course, Lion and her friends seem worried that Nina will leave to rejoin the ALCA. With that, Yayoi comes up with plans to convince her otherwise. Sadly, all those plans failed spectacularly, more so when Lion picked up the pictures. Yayoi and Mahiro challenges Nina to a battle to convince her out of leaving. It seems that Nina doesn’t understand why they are doing this.
During that time, I guess Nina will eventually find out after seeing how Lion feels. From looking at photos together and looking at the stars, she starts to notice. However, she doesn’t reveal this before graduation.
After graduation, Yayoi gives her flowers. It seems that Yuko will work the same office with Mizuki at the ALCA. Yep, she even links her arms with Yuko. It seems that Mizuki finally receives the happy ending she deserves after so much bad luck.
Aside from the graduation, everyone notices that the cherry blossom trees became in full bloom instantly. With that, Nina ran to find Lion. Of course, Veronica notices, but it seems that Nina isn’t interested. Nina eventually finds Lion. Lion used her powers so she can look at cherry blossoms with Nina. It’s because she thinks that Nina will leave.
With a heartfelt farewell, Lion hugs Nina while crying. Nina cheers Lion up saying that she plans on staying. I guess it’s for the best since Nina still has a lot to learn. Either way, her friends seem happy that she plans on staying. Probably too much that they hugged her. Lion also joins in on the fan, causing them to go off the bridge and fall into the river. Yep, it’s like what happened in the first episode. Either way, Lion should be happy that she will get to be with her crush for the next several years.
Final Impressions
Like with Hidan no Aria AA, Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic is a very enjoyable spinoff with an all-female cast. Also, the comedy and characters are enjoyable. Despite the lack of action compared to the main series, there is a lot of light-hearted and heartwarming moments. It’s not surprising as Lion and her friends are learning to become Logicalists.
Of course, Nina also realizes the power of friendship that she decides not to leave the academy right away. While the show doesn’t go much in depth about foreigners, there is definitely a lot of character development. Of course, there is yuri. It’s not surprising since Nina falls in love with Lion towards the end.
True love reigned supreme. Nina X Lion is wonderful, Mizuki may have won off screenor still has a chance to win in college and Yayoi’s harem remains intact. Great show that deserves all the support it can get.
In that respect, I think the show did great relationships wise and exceed expectations in that front. This show is definitely better than the original, although it doesn’t have as much action, even compared with Hidan no Aria AA.
Yes. It has the least action of the “female centered” sequels/midquels/spinoffs but still managed to be very enjoyable.
