Now that the year is coming to a close, it’s time for another exam. Somehow, Nina wants to find a way to graduate from school quicker to return to ALCA.
From last time, it appears that Nina doesn’t like how she is stuck in school. It’s because the Bureau Chief Veronica said the academy is a good fit for her. This just complicates her desire to return to the ALCA. She eventually asked the principal if she can finish her studies quicker, she didn’t receive the answer she expected. The principal says the answer lies within the school.
While Nina walks in the halls in the school, she overheard the training Lion with Kagura. It seems that Lion haven’t achieve full control of her trance. From this, Kagura reveals that she has the same qualities Lion has. Still, it’s hilarious how Lion imagines Kagura if she tranced with Waffle. Nevertheless, if Lion balances her powers, she can become a logicalist better than any ALCA agent. Understandably, Nina overheard their conversation and this upsets her. This will become important on exam day.
While Lion is studying, Nina asks her about what happened in the reserved room with Kagura. Belle reminds her not to say anything. Lion says it’s after school detention. In reality, it’s not that.
During the practical exam, Lion has a match up with Nina in a mock battle. It seems that Nina is out of it and Lion is beating her. Eventually, Nina got angry and becomes surprisingly aggressive. She doesn’t like how Lion is keeping secrets from her.
It’s understandable why Nina becomes upset. Since they are best friends, Nina doesn’t see why she can’t tell it to her. She doesn’t realize that Lion can’t simply tell her. Of course, the lie Lion said before doesn’t help, which is why Nina doesn’t believe her.
In short, Nina said something that she didn’t mean. She said that Lion is not her friend. Of course, Lion will burst in tears. Nina doesn’t realize that what she said will cause Lion to lose complete control of her trance. It’s surprising since Lion actually managed to balance her powers until this happened. In short, Rosa takes complete control of Lion’s body and goes berserk by punishing Nina for making Lion cry. Afterwards, she escaped.
It’s obvious that Nina feels remorseful for saying terrible things to her best friend. To make things right, she decides to save her. She takes Belle along with her to find and free her from Rosa’s control. While it’s tough, she manages to get through to her and bringing Lion back to her senses. Of course, she collapses from exhaustion.
Lion realizes that Nina saved her. She uses Belle’s true form and tranced using her. This allowed her to heal Nina’s injuries. This can explain why Belle is with Lion all the time. It allows her to keep Lion’s feelings in check.
In the end, Nina and Lion returned safely to the school. While it’s obvious that this incident might affect Nina’s chances of returning to the ALCA, she realized one thing. It seems that she has a long way to go.
At last, Nina starts calling Lion by her first name. From this incident, their relationship grew even closer together. After returning to the dorms, they celebrate Christmas with their friends. Also, it seems that Lion may have finally managed to balance her powers. Hopefully, she won’t go berserk ever again.
This was a very heartwarming episode that helped qualm my anger from last weekend. Nina X Lion are closer than ever and it is GLORIOUS!
Poor Mizuki still has a way to go. FIGHTO!
Belle’s true form was pretty cool.
I wonder what’s next for our heroines?
I agree. While friends fight sometimes, I am glad that the relationship between Nina and Lion got stronger from this. Not only that, it seems that Lion gain proper controls of her powers too. Hopefully it will stay that way.
Yes, Belle’s true form is nice.
Precisely.
Indeed it is.
