While the girls try to convince Erika to return home, Shiori feels uneasy. Are her views on Manoyama wrong?
As the three men try to find the shining dragon statue, it seems that they are not having much luck. Given that it’s snowing, this makes the search difficult. Of course, they could be reading it wrong as they read the note across, not up and down and left.
Either way, Erika is still staying at the dorm. Maki tells the rest of the story that she told to her. Apparently, the girl who wore a wedding dress simply wanted to change out of it. She realizes that marriage is not something she wanted to do in reality.
In short, the moral of the story is that dreams and reality is not the same. One has to become resolved to make it happen. From this, Erika doesn’t seem happy that Maki and Shiori is trying to deter her from achieving her dream. She is still adamant towards running away from Manoyama and living in Tokyo. From this, she says that Shiori is out of touch. Even when she took a bath with Shiori, Erika won’t change her mind. She doesn’t want to wait until adulthood. She wants to live in Tokyo now.
However, we learn what Erika wants to do. She wants to open up a cool clothing shop. This can explain why she wants to live in Tokyo. She probably believes that a clothing shop won’t do well in Manoyama. Still, it’s nice to see that the three guys’ dreams became true in one way or another. Maybe it’s the work of the shining dragon?
After Sanae, Ririko and Yoshino returns, Erika has a toothache. It seems that her baby modular tooth is coming out late. I find it funny how Sanae makes fun of Erika by saying that she is still a kid. Of course, they can’t bring her to a dentist and Erika doesn’t want them to call her mom. Yoshino tickles Erika’s foot while Shiori and Maki holds her down to relieve the pain. Of course, the procedure has nothing to do with a toothache.
In the end, Yoshino and Sanae manages to get children’s pain killers for Erika. It’s all thanks to Chitose having the owner of the pharmacy to open up that they were able to buy it. Of course, this is something that will only be possible in shopping districts. No matter what, Shiori likes Manoyama despite what people say or others’ desire to leave. In short, it’s obvious that she will stay in Manoyama forever.
Sadly, something bad happens all the sudden. Angelica finds a note. It appears that Anji ran away from home to look for her older sister. It’s bound to happen with her desire to abandon them so she can live in Tokyo. It’s a possibility that he is looking for the shining dragon statue so he can have it grant a wish. A wish to have Erika return home. Thankfully, Sandal found him and brought him to the police box.
In the end, Erika realized that running away from home is a bad idea. While she doesn’t believe that a clothing shop will do well in Manoyama, Anji is willing to help her. In other words, things are well again as Erika promises not to run away again.
After all this, the dragon statue that the guys dig up is just a toy. In short, the statue’s whereabouts still remain unknown. Hopefully the girls will eventually find the statue before the festival. Still, I have to admit that Shiori looks better with her hair down.
