Now that summer break is finally over, it’s time to plan for the cultural festival.
In the first half, it’s nice to see what the girls did for their homework. While the other girls created something normal, Mahiro created a contraption. As expected, it causes hesitation from the teacher. They probably knew it’s going to explode. It eventually did after she pressed the button to use some function. It looks like the classroom wall will need repairs.
Either way, teachers walked out so that the student council can announce the theme for the cultural festival. They announced that the theme is foreigners. It’s bound to happen because of Lion. Still, it’s funny how Mizuki is so desperate to win Yuko’s heart that she took a peek at her schedule. Her friends walked in and Yuko doesn’t seem happy about this that she hits her. I guess she shouldn’t done that.
Aside from that, the first-year class S figures out what to do for the festival. Karin suggest a maid café, which is too predictable. As for Karen, she suggests a haunted house. Of course, Nina goes against the idea since it scares her.
In the end, Yayoi rejects both ideas since they don’t fit the theme. The girls thought about Lion’s song from the two episodes ago. With that, Mahiro suggests doing a play and of course, Yayoi approves the idea.
As it seems, Mahiro is having a very difficult time coming up with the story. I would have thought she would have an easy time given her passion for foreigners. This eventually causes her to question why Yayoi picked her as a leader. It’s already obvious. Either way, she keeps working through the night that she paints her eyes open while sleeping in class.
Behind the scenes, the teachers talk about Lion. If you recall a few episodes back, it seems that Lion empathizes with the foreigners too much. With that, they plan on giving Lion special extracurricular lessons. Also, they gave her another foreigner card, Waffle based on a childish and playful girl.
Sadly, it seems that things didn’t go as planned. Even in the mock battle with Nina and Lion, things are not balanced. After class, Kagura gives Lion a mirror. It appears that simply giving Lion a different foreigner card does not solve the balancing issue.
It seems that Lion emotional feelings is too sensitive. Kagura notices after threatening her with a sword. Either way, it looks like Lion needs to train her heart and body more with the hopes to resolve this issue.
That evening, it seems that Mahiro still having trouble. Thankfully, she manages to figure it out after thinking about Nina’s and Lion’s transformation. She plans on making a story with Nina and Lion the main heroines. This should be interesting next time when they actually perform.
As for Lion, Yayoi finds her sleeping in a sleeping bag. At least she is kind enough to let Lion stay in her room. Yayoi talks about Mahiro’s determination. It’s obvious that Mahiro is Yayoi’s childhood friend since she knows a lot about her. There is no wonder why Yayoi is aware about her crazy inventions and failures.
It was nice seeing Mahiro sort of get the spotlight again.
I’m pretty sure something bad is going to happen soon with Lion and Rosa.
Mizuki digging for Yuko’s diary was not good. It’s cool that Yuko scolded her rather than smacking her and not following up on it.
Yayoi is love.
It’s bound to happen since Mahiro has a strong interest in foreigners. But yes, maybe something bad might happen with Lion given that she haven’t fixed the balancing issues.
Yes, it’s not cool for Mizuki to look into Yuko’s diary. I know she is desperate, but she doesn’t need to go that far.
I expect things to go south soon.
Exactly.
