Now that the senior citizens of Warabiya takes Yoshino hostage, what will the girls do?
From the looks of it, Yoshino decided to have herself “kidnapped” for a special cause. Aside from finding solutions to save the bus line, Suzuhara demanded a cameraman, alcohol and snacks. It’s obvious that the people in the stream chat won’t believe that anything can be done. Still, the girls have to do it. After all, they need to find the whereabouts of the treasures.
After bringing the snacks and booze, Maki decides to join them. It’s funny to see Sanae with Ririko and Shiori in misbelief as they see a drunk Maki. Still, Maki manages to catch a pervert looking into the window as Yoshino takes a bath. Either way, Sanae doesn’t seem happy since Yoshino and the senior citizens are making Manoyama look bad.
After the girls arrived at the village, they find a sign. It’s obvious the old people block the roadway as protest. Either way, Sanae doesn’t seem to be interested in the activities the girls plan on doing while recording videos. Instead, she spends time with Suzuhara. She asks why he is continuing his efforts. Apparently, he wants to create a digital archive on the internet to spread awareness of the village. It’s not surprising since he documented a lot of discoveries in the notebooks.
When night comes, Yoshino decides not to return, thus Sanae rides the bus alone. While talking to Takamizawa on the way back, she comes up with an idea. They come up with an on-demand bus service similar to Uber, but run by a bus company. She designed an application that allows anyone to arrange a ride on-demand. The bus driver can drop them off to their destination directly. Since all the senior citizens have tablets, this is easy. In other words, she solved the bus line problem through the power of the internet.
Sadly, the good news didn’t last. Suzuhara passed away after he settled the dispute and graded the girls’ efforts. It’s surprising and sad to see him pass away this quickly. Given that Suzuhara never tells the girls the treasure’s whereabouts. Does this mean that they are out of luck?
Not really since there is a mysterious message on the message board. It’s from Suzuhara’s son. It was in the storage room all this time. With that, this leaves only two more treasures left. At least Sanae from this understands the connections that Suzuhara talked about. Hopefully someday, Sanae will find something that she really wants to do for the rest of her life.
