Summer break is finally here. The girls decide to take a break by visiting Lion’s place.
It’s summer and apparently, Lion’s father wants Lion to come home during the break. Obviously, she didn’t want to do it at first. Somehow, her father manages to convince her friends to come over. In short, Lion has no choice but to go. Thankfully, Nina will come with her, so she won’t be alone.
Sadly, it seems that the air conditioning at the castle the girls are staying broke down. As a result, the girls feel exhausted from the heat. Yayoi feels tired while she and Karin watches Lion’s father dig out the ground to make a pool. It’s quite obvious where this is going, right? It’s going to become a swimsuit episode. Still, it’s funny to see Nina having to tickle Karen’s armpits to have her let go.
While Lion’s father builds the pool, we learn more about Lion’s mother, Linya. While showing pictures of Lion in the family album, she shares her experiences raising her. Obviously, Lion prefers her mother. This is not surprising since she almost resembles her mother. Still, it’s surprising her mom can raise her while working as a logicalist. Also, she knows how to punish her husband if he gets out of line. Apparently, he did when he came to the academy to pick up Lion personally. I guess she needs to mentally punish her husband again.
Meanwhile, Mahiro have some bonding time with Lion while they explore the forest. While Mahiro didn’t find any foreigners, she wonders if Belle has a family. Lion mentions that her mother made a contract with Belle while working as a Logicalist. Obviously, it won’t trance at all and there is no way to meet her family from an alternate world. Despite this, to Lion, she treats Belle as a family member.
When Lion and Mahiro returns, they find that Lion’s father finished making the pool. As always, the girls look great in their swimsuits. Yayoi’s in particular looks cute. As expected, Karen splashes water on her from swimming, which causes Yayoi to chase after her. Karen then pushes Yayoi’s face into her breasts. Understandably, Yayoi becomes jealous, especially given Karen’s childish behavior. Either way, the girls enjoyed themselves at the pool eating good food.
To finish the day off, the girls go to a special spot to see stars. We learn that Nina has a strong interest in stars. After finding a shooting star, the girls make their wish. After hearing Belle sing a song and Lion sing it too, Lion’s father reveals the song’s origins. He said that song is not from Septia, but from Monolium. Surely, Mahiro will become curious from this and wants to learn more.
In the end, her friends decide to return to the dorms while Lion stays with her parents a bit longer. Is it because they are curious about Rosa and that song? Who knows. Then again, they probably left because Hina needs to concentrate on her homework. It’s the bane of every student’s existence.
I got my swimsuit episode and as expected Yayoi wowed us all with her magnificence.
I’m very interested in learning more about the Foreigners’ World and seeing if the girls somehow end up there. I imagine this was brought up in the main series but based on fan voting it’ll be a while before I find out.
Linya is a kind yet fierce woman who should not be trifled with.
It’s nice that there is a swimsuit episode. the girls look cute.
At least it’s nice to see some more information about the foreigner’s world. Probably, people who watch the main series probably know more. But yes, Lion’s father shouldn’t mess around with his wife… I guess he will never learn, given that he did the same a few episodes back.
Wouldn’t be a good Girls Club show without one.
According to some there really isn’t much info on their world in the main series either. I’ll see for myself when able.
As tough as mama is I suppose she can’t help but pity her husband’s silliness, hence why she cuts him some slack in spite of her harsh punishments,
