Now that Yoshino returns from vacation, what awaits her at Manoyama?
After relaxing in her home town, Yoshino is finally refreshed after dealing with the failure of the founder’s festival. It seems that Sanae and Maki offered to pick up Yoshino from the station. When they arrived at the palace, they are in for a surprise.
From the looks of it, it seems that the foreigners caused a big misunderstanding. It seems that the foreigners just wanted to say hello to Shiori and Ririko. Apparently, they are there to look for sightings of UMAs in Manoyama. Not sure what the people of Manoyama think about this. At least this give the girls an opportunity to take advantage of this. Still, it’s funny how the foreigners used the wrong kanji for peace on their shirts.
Ririko and Shiori finally reveals what they worked on while Yoshino, Maki and Sanae is away. They propose using the empty houses as bed and breakfast lodgings. It will give the girls an opportunity to solve the lodging problems with the influx of visitors. With the lake emptying, this only attracted more tourists with interest in UMAs. At least Ririko started to open up as she shows the tourists the book of UMAs of Manoyama.
To me, I think it’s a good idea, except for one problem. It seems that they need approval a month in advance before they can use one of the empty houses for lodging. This can be problematic since the tourists want to stay in Manoyama. At least Ririko give a good suggestion to use a house for free lodging.
After talking to the owner, they were able to do that. Even Lucia came to help the girls, which is nice. She also shows the photos she took during her travels to Ririko. Given that Ririko never thought about moving out or going outside of Manoyama, maybe It will give her the idea. Even Chitose, her grandmother never thought about living outside of Manoyama either.
Aside from that, while Kadota throws another outing, he decides to go home while drunk. On his way home, he finds something coming out of the lake. He decides to chase after it. Of course, this gets him in trouble when the tourists notice something strange at the lake. Yep, Kadota needs rescuing. After landing in the hospital, without anyone notices, he escapes. It looks like he is really curious about the thing that is coming out of the lake. What is it? We’ll find out next time.
