Now that Aiz’s sword is repaired, she needs to earn money to pay for it. With that, they find themselves in a sticky situation.
In the beginning of the episode, it’s quite obvious that something is odd is happening. A red-haired woman obtaining information from a man strangles him to death. Of course, it makes me wonder if this has to do with those Venus fly trap-like monsters being unleashed during Monsterphilia. Also in a dream, Aiz’s mother told a fairy tale and that someday, Aiz will find the special person. However, something bothers Aiz about the dream of someone who might be behind those monsters.
With that, Aiz, Tiona, Tione, Lefiya, Riveria and Finn went into the dungeon to defeat monsters to help Aiz earn money. Eventually, they want to a settlement to rest and sell the stones. With that, they find out that something strange happened in the town.
The inn keeper took them to the murder scene and Riveria used her magic to find out the victim’s identity. The victim was a level 4 adventurer, which perplexes everyone. Still, it’s funny how the inn keepers accused the girls in Aiz’s group, especially Tione of the murder. They shouldn’t have done that since Tione went on a big and scary rant afterwards.
Meanwhile, Loki and Bate went down the sewers to investigate the monsters. They detected a god’s presence. Sadly, they ran into the same Venus fly trap monsters. After defeated them, they find the same magic stone Aiz found last episode. They eventually ran into Dionysus, but they aren’t the ones that unleashed the monsters. In fact, three of their adventurers died as a result of these monsters attacking them. The mystery deepens.
Things gets stranger when Aiz and her female adventurers examine all the female adventurers to find the murderer. A girl named Lunune ran away, which causes Lefiya and Aiz to pursue her. Apparently, she accepted a quest from a hooded man who contains an orb that has a fetus of something. Aiz opens the bag and holds it. It opened its eyes and it causes her to act strange. Shortly after, man unleashes those Venus fly trap creatures. Will they defeat those monsters in time and find the culprit behind this once and for all? We’ll see.
I’m very intrigued to see what will happen next. Apart from the silly “girls fawning over the short guy” joke this was a good episode.
The next episode should be interesting, but yes… iI wonder why the girls are fawning over the short guy.
