It’s finally Hinako’s first day of school. How will it turn out?
Now that Hinako gotten acquainted with her new friends, it’s time for her to attend school. As expected, she became nervous while giving her introduction. She became nervous that she almost went into complete scarecrow mode. Thankfully, she completed her introduction despite her nervousness. Kuina praised her for completing her introduction.
Even with her introduction, Hinako still has a hard time interacting with other girls. When other classmates come up to her, she freezes up. Thankfully, Kuina is there to help her do the speaking. Still, it doesn’t help when she becomes nervous after her teacher calls on her.
With that, this is where the fifth member of the group comes in. Yes, her name is Nakajima Yua and she is not only a tsundere, but she wants to become an actress. You guessed it, Chiaki’s acting inspired her. Of course, Yua doesn’t like the fact that such a shy girl like Hinako is friends with Chiaki.
Yua even tries to spite her by taking Hinako’s place when her teacher calls on her. Then again, she eventually feels sorry for her. Not only that, doing this gave Hinako the wrong idea into believing that Yua is helping her. Eventually, Hinako gains the courage to become friends with Yua towards the end of the episode. Does this mean that Yua and Hinako is a potential couple? Obviously, there is a lot of competition to win Hinako’s heart.
Aside from that, Mayuki finds a way to help Hinako get used to interacting with others. She made her work in the café, thus Hinako has to wear the maid outfit. While she looks cute in it, it’s obvious that Mayuki got carried away. She had Hinako try out other cosplay outfits that consists of a cat girl’s outfit and a china dress. I have to admit that Hinako looks cute in them. Not only that, Kuina seems to like seeing Hinako in those outfits.
While working at the restaurant, Hinako finds a lost girl. While she was nervous at first, she finds a way to help her. She made the bird talk and that helped with her nervousness. She was able to have the girl call her mother to pick her up.
At least this is a good first step to getting over her shyness. Will it be enough to perform in front of an audience during practice? We’ll see soon enough.
On the one hand I felt bad for Hinako having trouble with people. On the other hand her sad face is so adorable it filled me with joy.
Yua has already proven to be a wonderful addition to the cast. As you said, her and Hinako could become a reality. We shall see.
I have to agree. It must be hard for her trying to communicate with girls, especially since she came from the country. At least she is making progress.
But yes, Yua is wonderful. Hopefully we get to see more of her being with Hinako.
