Now that Kotarou infiltrated both Gaia and Guardian, can he stop them?
After a while, Kotarou finally meets Sakura so he can leak the truth to Suzuki. From there, Kotarou learns about what Suzuki is up to. He is apparently making a stone city underground. He plans on using this as a shelter when the world ends. To accomplish this, he needs to get rid of Sakura.
With that, they eventually plan to capture Akane and Tsukuno (formerly known as Nagi). Right before the board meeting started, Sakura threw a curveball and made Akane her successor and have Tsukuno protect her. Opps, it looks that Kotarou’s plan to stop Gaia has failed. It seems that Sakura has outsmarted Kotarou. Then again, he might have done this on purpose as revealed next.
Either way, Kagari is not happy with this. She tells him the consequences if Kotarou is not successful in saving the world. In other words, they get into an argument with Kotarou for protecting his ties with Akane. In other words, Kagari got into a fit and almost destroys the earth prematurely. That until Kotarou kisses Kagari on the lips.
While viewers are confused why Kotarou has a thing for Kagari, it’s quite obvious. He found a sense of belonging that he was looking for a long time. It’s with Kagari. It’s not surprising since he wants to fondle her breasts after saving the world. Still, it’s somewhat disappointing that he gives up on saving the earth just to fall in love with Kagari.
Either way, Kagari seems disappointed after Kotarou reveals his true feelings. Will Kotarou convince Kagari otherwise to find the good memories she is looking for? We have to find out next time.
