With Kotarou and his team mates, Touka and Arata competed their training, how well they will do in their first mission?
Now that the training is over, Kotarou and his team mates starts their first mission. The mission is to observe the forest’s entrance. Kotarou and Arata is tasked to look at the forest while Touka does it at school as a student. It seems that she looks happy to be able to attend school temporarily. When they find out that Mikuni’s team get to find the Key in the forest, they are disappointed. Still, they carried on with the mission regardless.
After an emergency signal rang, Arata and Touka becomes impatient and decides to go into the forest. This is where things get interesting as Akane went missing and Kotarou decides to chase after Touka and Arata. He also witnesses monsters killing Mikuni’s team. Aside from defeating a monster and saving Akane, he finds the Key.
This is where things get interesting. Although he almost decided to kill the Key, he didn’t go through with it. It’s not surprising given his past experiences with Kagari. After all, he is finding his sense of belonging, which goes along with Kagari’s good memory she is looking for. Since killing her does not stop the inevitable, it makes sense that Kotarou would let her go.
After sparing Kagari, Kotarou still doesn’t know his sense of belonging. With that, he feels that working in a war zone might find clues to get his sense of belonging. It should be interesting to see what happens next time.
