Now that Kanna is going to school, Tohru becomes curious about what Kobayashi does at work.
As always, Tohru is trying to find new ways to win Kobayashi’s heart. Aside from learning some relationship advice on television, she decide to go to Kobayashi’s workplace. Thanks to her concealing magic, she gets to see a glimpse of what Kobayashi does for a living. This is where hilarity ensues.
After arriving at her workplace and getting jealous at Makoto, Tohru finds a person she hates the most. Yes, it’s one of Kobayashi’s chief and he is pushing more work on her. He even complains about Kobayashi not doing his tasks while she has work that takes priority over it.
The funny thing is that Tohru not only trip him the first time. After he complained about Kobayashi’s work the second time, Tohru tripped him endlessly. Obviously, Kobayashi is going to take notice despite not saying anything. While, Tohru got caught right before she almost got away with it, at least she knows more about Kobayashi. It is good thing that the director cans the chief for abusing his powers. At least Kobayashi doesn’t have to deal with an abusive chief anymore.
In the second half, Tohru and Kanna trying to perform a magic trick they saw on television. I find it hilarious that they went through ESP training just to bend a spoon. After all that, Tohru still have trouble trying to perform the trick before Kobayashi show her how to do it. I understand that Tohru wants to learn more about humans, but maybe she shouldn’t imitate them. With that, she performs her own magical trick and appears on television. I find it funny how Kobayashi reacted after seeing Tohru appear on television.
Aside from that, there are other funny moments. As always, Riko gets excited when she has to do stuff with Kana. Also, it seems that Mr. Fafnir found a place to live. Yes, it’s at an otaku’s house and he have a lot of video games. It seems that they will get along fine.
Tohru is great this episode. I was on the Kanna camp but I’m starting to be sold on her more and more as well. Must be the fang…
I agree and it was hilarious how she trips the chief undetected and the ESP training. Yes, it could be the fangs or even the horns. Still, Kanna still have a special place in my heart.
Chiya X Riko is totes adorbs and a legit win!
Tohru’s determination to earn Miss Kobayashi’s love fair and square is most commendable.
That mean boss had it coming. Jerk.
It seems that Riko is now infatuated with Kanna. Must be her cuteness… but still, I am glad that the boss got what he deserved.
