As Kasumi finally gets the guitar she wants, her dream of creating a band finally took its first step. The question is, will Rimi join in?
From last time, Kasumi saw Rimi and her older sister, Yuri at the live house venue. Rimi admits that she can’t join a band. It makes you wonder why she lacks the courage. Is it because she doesn’t have the courage to do so? From Rimi rejecting Yuri’s request and Rimi crying when Kasumi tried to ask her, you wonder why.
After Kasumi found Rimi having trouble talking to tourists that only speak in English, she reveals it. She simply has stage fright and can’t perform in front of an audience. She is not alone as some point in one’s life, most people get nervous when in front of a big audience. One will eventually get used to it through practice. Still, it’s easy to see why she looks up to Kasumi since she has the courage to start a band alone.
While Yuri went on her class trip to Okinawa, Murphy’s Law strikes. There is a typhoon that caused their flight to get delayed. This caused problems for their performance time. Of course, the venue owner won’t wait for Glitter Green after the last band performs. With that, Kasumi takes things in her own hand.
While I have to admit that seeing Kasumi sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is cringe worthy, it allows Rimi to realize something. Rimi gains the courage to perform in front of an audience and see how fun it is. While Arisa’s reaction to it was funny, she reluctantly goes along with Kasumi’s plan. I have to give Kasumi some credit, at least she has the courage to bring herself to do this.
Thankfully, Kasumi’s plan worked as Glitter Green finally arrives. With that, Kasumi now have another member for her band. She only needs one more member before the band is complete. It’s quite obvious who she will ask next time.
Arisa so wants to snuggle with Kasumi, enough to play along with her silly song choice. Rimi stepping up was pretty cool.
“SPAAAACE!” is a delightful catchphrase.
I have a feeling that she has been warming up or defrosting since the second episode. Still, it’s a long way for her to become less harsh. Glad that Rimi is stepping up.
