Now that Maple launched his special robot to fight against Victorious, will he be able to save the day?
As expected, it seems that Maple’s robot was not enough to take on Victorious. Thankfully, Darudayu along with A and Un came with the big melodian crystal. With all the bands playing, they used the power of music to grow the crystal and defeat Victorious. It was predictable, but thankfully Victorious realized her love towards music, which she suppressed for all these years. Believe it or not, she used music to keep her spirits up with her friends during a trial.
As a whole, while Ninjariot barely have a role in the second season, it seems that it’s time for Cyan to return. I have a feeling that Show by Rock is becoming like Dog Days for this reason alone. Hopefully next time, Cyan can return on her own accord instead of being dragged to the other world when crisis arises. Still, it’s sad to see Cyan having to say goodbye again, but she will return someday.
Final Thoughts
While not as wacky compared to the first season, the second season of Show by Rock is still enjoyable to watch. There were a lot of nice moments. This includes Retoree making up with Rosia, Plasmagica visiting Moa’s home planet and seeing Cyan struggle to write a song. There are also heartwarming moments such as Airene realizing her love towards music and making up with her older brother, Aion. Either way, I wouldn’t mind another season. Hopefully, Cyan won’t have to save the world again. Then maybe, Retoree can finally confess her love towards Cyan.
Lackluster finale imo. Felt REALLY rushed.
Poor Retoree having to say goodbye to her beloved Cyan once again was sad to watch.
We need a third season, movie or super mega OVA.
Even so the show overall was still quite enjoyable so don’t think the finale ruined it for me.
I agree that the show felt rushed, especially given how short Cyan’s farewell. Still, it’s a fun watch.
