Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku – Episode 6 – The Start of a Brutal Battle Royale

November 5, 2016 by Chikorita157 1 Comment
It's obvious that Cranberry is evil to the core.
It’s obvious that Cranberry is evil to the core.

As expected, things got uglier as the unthinkable happens. How will Snow White react?

From the looks of it, I was correct about what will happen next. Souta/La Pucelle triggered the death flag when she decided to challenge Cranberry. The fight was brutal with blood going everywhere. La Pucelle is probably disgusted that magical girls, especially Cranberry are using their powers to kill each other. In short, she tried to defeat Cranberry to defend her ideals.

While it’s nice to see a comeback, it wasn’t enough to kill Cranberry. In short, Cranberry murdered him and tried to cover it up as an accident. Still, it’s obvious that Fav is working with Cranberry to make the whole magical girl thing into a survival game.

It's sad to see Koyuki this depressed.
It’s sad to see Koyuki this depressed.

As you would expect, Snow White/Koyuki is distraught by the death of Souta. It’s obvious that she wants to avenge Souta’s death after Fav break out the bad news. The funny thing is that he decided to release special items which any magical girl can buy in exchange of having years taken off their lives. This doesn’t come at a big surprise since Fav is evil after all. Sadly, Koyuki couldn’t get any items since the SwimSwim’s team and Calamity Mary got to them first. As for the person who got the Rabbit’s foot, it remains a mystery.  Given Souta’s sacrifice, this is a big slap in the face for Koyuki.

Believe it or not, SwimSwim's team stole most of the good items.
Believe it or not, SwimSwim’s team stole most of the good items.

On the other hand, we learn more about Magicaroid 44.  She happens to be Andou Makoto. It’s obvious that she ran away from home. Apparently, she played the magical girl mobile game on her friend’s smartphone. It’s obvious that she had no interest in becoming a magical girl, especially after turning into one. Aside from joining forces with Calamity Mary, she decides to kill someone. Yep, she targeted Snow White of course after killing Hardgore Alice by dismembering her head, or as it seems.

Believe it or not, this girl is still alive and just saved Koyuki from Magicaroid 44.
Believe it or not, this girl is still alive and just saved Koyuki from Magicaroid 44.

It’s obvious that Koyuki does not want to die. Unfortunately, she came very close to being killed until Alice retaliated and killed Magicaroid 44. Given the profile for Hardgore Alice, she can apparently heal from any injury, thus making her virtually invincible. In other words, Magicaroid 44 didn’t kill her, thus Alice was able to kill Magicaroid 44 before Magicaroid 44 could to kill Koyuki. Whether or not Hardgore Alice will help Koyuki/Snow White remains a mystery. From the looks of it, all hints are pointing to yes.

With that, I have to give this sad goodbye to Souta/La Pucelle…

Rest in Peace La Pucelle. We will miss you and hopefully his love for magical girls will live on.
