Now that Kumiko promised Nozomi that she will ask Asuka about why she won’t allow her to rejoin, what will Asuka reveal?
After a long day of practice at the music camp, Kumiko finally steps up to the plate and fulfills Nozomi’s promise. She asked Asuka about Nozomi and after dinner, she finally reveals it. From the looks of it, she doesn’t have a problem rejoining. However, the reason she decided against it is because of Mizore. It’s understandable since she is the only oboe player in the band.
Apparently, Mizore does not want to see Nozomi’s face. That does not explain much. Probably Nozomi’s push to have the third years focus on the competition might cause her to feel this way since she hates competitions. Still, don’t you find it odd that Nozomi is trying to avoid Mizore? It makes you wonder what happened to them that made them not want to speak to each other.
On the other hand, it seems that Kumiko have heard on the conversation between Natsuki and Yuko. Apparently, Natsuki is asking her why Nozomi can’t rejoin. Yukio said it will cause a big mess if Nozomi joined. Thankfully, she told her side of the story to Kumiko. Apparently, Yuko thought about quitting, but she didn’t because of Kaori cheering her on.
Either way, Yuko doesn’t want Natsuki to bring Nozomi back. In Yuko’s eyes, it seems that Natsuki doesn’t agree with her bring her back for her sake. She thinks that Natsuki doesn’t know Mizore and what consequences having Nozomi back. It’s understandable as Nozomi can cause trouble for the band, especially with Mizore.
Also, it seems that Yuko have mixed feelings about competitions. At the same time, she does not agree that playing casually is the best thing. In other words, aside from being a balance, serious players should participate in the competition while casual ones are placed in a separate band.
In short, it seems that there is an uphill battle for Nozomi to convince club members. If she really wants to rejoin, she needs to make up with Mizore. Aside from that, Reina must be relieved that Satomi is not dating Taki since she is married. However, it seems that Taki was previously married after Kumiko found out about it from Hashimoto. His wife apparently died, which caused Taki to quit music for a while. It looks like it won’t bode well for Reina either way when she eventually finds out.
