While I have off on Labor Day, it seems that Aoba looks overworked. Thankfully, there is a treat waiting for her and her co-workers.
From the looks of it, it seems that Aoba doesn’t get enough sleep. I have to admit that I can’t survive with little sleep. Still, I am surprised that she doesn’t drink any coffee or energy drinks to stay awake.
It’s revealed later that she stays up drawing characters before going to bed. As expected, she is dedicated to achieving her dream. With that in mind, Nene got into an argument with Aoba over the amount of sleep she gets. Of course, this leads to Aoba complaining about Nene not having a life and not writing her essays. In short, Umiko immediately noticed that Nene was upset.
I can’t blame Aoba given that she wants to work hard to achieve her dream. Still, it’s understandable that Nene would be worried about her. A person can act differently when he or she is sleep deprived. Still, I think she understood Aoba’s dream after taking a look at the work on her computer screen. In short, they made up with each other in the end.
Aside from that, it’s nice that Aoba came up with the idea of bringing in doughnuts. This makes me wonder if doughnuts are a common work treat that co-workers bring in. It happens in my workplace once in a while. I guess it’s because they are sweet and taste good. Even so, it’s funny that everyone bought in doughnuts. Yep, it must be the half-price sale that was going on. Still, it’s amusing to see the programmers completely exhausted and sleeping near Umiko’s desk. They must have worked through the night to fix all those bugs.
On the other hand, it seems that Hifumi is scared that Aoba will become mean towards her. I guess Hifumi didn’t take Aoba teasing Nene nicely. On the other hand, it seems that Hifumi wants Aoba to say something mean to her, but it won’t happen. I can’t imagine Aoba being a sadist since she is too nice. Still, it’s hilarious how Nene accidently pulls the plug for Umiko’s monitor. Not only that, Rin is worried that Ko is calling to another lover. Thankfully, Ko was just talking about her mother. This should give Rin a sigh of relief.
It is a well known fact that Aoba’s one true love is Hifumi. Nene’s a great friend. That’s all.
Whoever Umiko chooses to hook up with between Nene and Shizuku is fine by me because Umiko’s great both in looks and character.
RinKo gave everyone the spotlight this episode. That’s why they graciously stepped back and didn’t go all out with their loving like they usually do.
Hifumi and Aoba is obvious given how she already reacts… but I don’t think Aoba will do anything mean to her. She probably does it to Nene because it’s funny, but I highly doubt it’s mean spirited.
Still, I feel that Umiko likes being with Nene given that she likes having her around. Then again. I don’t mind who she picks in the end.
