After Kotarou finally met Kagari in person, they finally go out on a search to find her memories.
While Kotarou takes a bath, I find it funny how Kagari barges in and became naked. Yes, he actually called her a pervert, which is surprising. Either way, it seems that she wants to explore the city to find more answers about her memories. While it feels like a date of some sort, it’s probably not a good idea as you will see later.
From the looks of it, it seems that both Gaia and Guardian have their eyes on him. Not only that, Chibi-Moth seems to be spying on him as well. Thankfully, Kotarou managed to escape thanks to help from his friend, Haruhiko. Still, it’s hilarious how Chibi-moth can beat the crap out of the Guardian guy without effort.
On the other hand, it seems the strange guy has spotted them with his two wolves. At least Kotarou managed to beat the crap out of him while Kagari vanquished the wolves. Chibi-Moth came to the rescue to take him down, allowing them to escape. It’s definitely not safe for them to be wondering around, but at least Lucia wasn’t able to see Kagari.
As for where Kotori was all this time? She was in the forest building her secret base where Kagari was born. This was the place where she got her special powers to control creatures since her childhood. The rainbow swamp is the source that allows her to create and control them without draining her life force. As expected, she is tasked to protect the Key or Kagari from Guardian and Gaia. Still, I wonder why she rejected Kotarou’s confession to her in a flashback. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Aside from that, it seems that Pani and Gil are the moles since they reported the location to Sakuya. As expected, nobody should trust them. In short, things are going to get worse now that Gaia and Guardian might actually fight against each other next time. Either way, it makes me wonder how Kotarou and Kotori will protect Kagari. We’ll find out next time.
