Onsa suddenly liking Suzuki is definitely the first. Maybe she is finally seeing the light thanks to Rin?
Updates
Since spring is coming to a close, this is the last Anime Weekly of the season. Next week, I will share my impressions for all these shows separately. As always, don’t be afraid to share your thoughts in the comments.
Bakuon!! – Episode 11
I have to admit that this episode was an amusing one. Aside from the conceited biker getting what he deserves, it seems that Onsa now has a thing for Suzukis. Yep, it’s caused by her indirect kiss from Rin when Rin’s saliva hit her hand and Onsa licked it.
I have to admit that was hilarious to see such an egotistical biker who hates on Suzuki get I nfected with Hondabacillus, bacteria which attacks white blood cells and turn their nuclei into the Suzuki logo. While it’s a funny disease, it’s nice to have some Rin and Onsa moments in the first half since they are cute together despite arguing about Suzukis. Then again, it seems that Rin got her hopes up too much when Onsa saw the light, kind of about her favorite bike brand.
Aside from that, the second half focuses on Chisame deciding on a bike. Of course, the girls push for the bikes they prefer. It’s funny that Hane tries to push Chisame to get a bike that is pink regardless of the brand. Not only that, the girls decide to have a sumo match to determine which bike Chisame will get, which Hane won. Still, it’s surprising that Chisame settled with a Honda scooter in the end. Since it’s not a bike, I guess it fits with her ideals since scooters are meant to be ridden on roads.
Kumamiko – Episode 11
Given how much trauma Machi had from last time when she was forced to become an idol, it seems that she does not want to go along Yoshio’s plan at first even if she wants to go to Sendai. Yep, she basically ran away and sat at the cliff of a mountain as she sulks, even if Natsu mentions that it’s her last test to pass since she made a lot of progress in her attempt to get used to city life.
In short, she decided to go on with the idol competition and yep, it’s training from hell as Hibiki prepares her for the contest. In short, she is excited that she will be going into a city, but when it comes to the idol contest rehearsals, she breaks down. It seems that she doesn’t have enough self-esteem since she believes the other girls will look down at her for being a “country bumpkin.” I think she should not worry about it and just be herself. Still, after seeing her try to run away, it’s clear that she is too reliant on Natsu. Will she be able to overcome her anxiety to pass the challenge and win the contest? We’ll find out in the last episode.
Pan de Peace – Episode 11
At last, it’s a pool episode and it’s quite surprising that Mai doesn’t seem to know how to swim after her left leg cramped. Yep, it seems that Fuyumi is getting close to Mai after saving her. Does this mean that Fuyumi and Mai is becoming a reality? From the looks of it, maybe.
Still, it’s funny that Minami tried to have Yuu open her eyes when she is underwater and saw Minami smiling. Yep, she tricked her, but at least Yuu tried.
Hundred – Epsiode 11
Yep, things took a turn to the worse as Vitaly managed to infiltrate Little Garden, the ship that she designed. In short, she rigged the cleaning robots, which turns them into destructive bees aimed to ruin the power grid and infect the defense networks. Not only that, she brainwashed the hunters who are against her plans for one mission alone. Yep, Claire’s older brother might be involved with this as well as Vitaly is most likely aiming for Liza. Things are going to get nasty in the finale, but will Hayato and Emilia stop them in time? We’ll find out next week.
Mai X Fuyumi has to become a reality at this point while Onsa X Rin is a delightful pipe dream.
I really need to catch up with KumaMiko even though I said I would a while back. Eh. Might as well finish it in one go when it ends.
I agree… They definitely got us there with the Onsa and Rin teasing. Still, it’s funny that a bike snob like Onsa changed her mind about Suzuki because of Rin’s saliva.
But yes, you should finish Kumamiko since Machi is cute…
Haven’t watched these anime yet since my focus were on Bungou Stray Dogs and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, but I’ll keep this on my list and watch them when I have time! Thanks for the reco, btw! 😀
There are a few shows that I haven’t watched from Spring, (Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3 is an obvious one since I haven’t finished the prequel), but thanks!
