Now that Harekaze finally cleared their name, it’s time for the girls to have a break. Meanwhile, it seems that the instructors managed to find the Musashi and found trouble shortly afterwards.
After being on the run and avoiding attacks in the past three episodes, the girls finally catch a break. Yep, it’s a swimsuit episode and Mii finally gets her own welcome cake complete with candles. Aside from that, I have to admit that she looks attractive in the school swimsuit. The fact that she learned Japanese from watching movies was funny when Midori brought it up. Yep, that is probably not a great way to learn the language since she sounds like a gangster. Still, it’s sad that the girls didn’t cut the cake with a sword since it would look be cool.
Aside from Mashiro getting an unlucky fortune and getting wet from a water gun, it seems that Rin was upset by her fortune. I have to admit that while Rin is probably my least favorite character because of her voice, it’s easy to sympathize with her. Apparently, she wanted to become a Blue Mermaid in order to get over her tendency of running away. Sadly, she feels bad that she does nothing but fleeing. Thankfully, Akeno cheers her up by assuring her that fleeing is not always a bad thing since she managed to maneuver the ship away from the enemy. In short, she shouldn’t be too hard on herself.
Meanwhile, the investigation behind the Harekaze incident continues as Furushou gives her side of the story to Mashimo. As expected, she decided to attack them for being late, but she apparently doesn’t know why she did it. These findings are similar to Shima suddenly deciding to attack the ships since she had no recollection of it happening. In short, it’s clear that this incident has to do with the hamster from the last episode. Given that there are a lot of those hamsters seen while the instructor ship while they brought up the weapons to cripple the Musashi while eventually having issues with their systems, it pretty obvious where the problem is coming from. I think they will find out soon enough.
Aside from that, Akeno finally got word about the Musashi and after finding it, Akeno decides to save her. Sure, Mashiro is right that Akeno shouldn’t ditch her ship to save her since Akeno is the captain, but I can’t blame her. If you were Akeno, you will obviously save your best friend since it would be the right thing, even if it’s risky. Sadly, Akeno managed to wreck her glider after she ran it into a rock. Yep, the situation certainly got dark, but will someone will certainly save Akeno and manage to save Moeka in time. We’ll see next time…
Will that accursed Jerry Mouse ever stop manipulating people!?
I hope all goes well for Captain Mike and Captain Moka. Next week will be a most interesting episode.
I guess when they find out, perhaps they should realize that putting cats on board will help prevent the infestation and brainwashing. Still, I won’t be surprised if these hamsters are being used to control humans for evil purposes.
But yes, the next episode looks interesting and perhaps will have a lot of drama if things get even darker.
Those dreaded mice must be stopped!
