As Haruhiko gets closer to rebuilding the mysterious device he found earlier, it seems that a very powerful Phantom is out in the open that steals people’s abilities.
From the looks of it, it’s surprising that Mai’s team managed to become a top ranking Phantom hunting team for the whole school. It seems that the team building helped a lot now that they have become very popular. Still, It’s funny to see a bunch of fan girls of Koito wanting to take a picture with her. Meanwhile, it’s funny to see that nobody cares about Haruhiko. It’s not so surprising since he is pretty much useless aside from his knowledge.
Aside from that, it seems that the final boss Phantom has finally shown up and her name is Enigma. She can steal other people’s abilities. In short, she is perhaps the most powerful Phantom to come into existence and she cannot be sealed easily since she vanished from Haruhiko’s sketchbook. In short, to restore the stolen powers, someone has to defeat that said Phantom. From the looks of it, this will be a challenge.
On the other hand, it seems that Haruhiko’s mother appeared out of nowhere. After reuniting with him, she brings Haruhiko out shopping and stuff, which of course distracts him from fixing the mysterious device. It has gotten to the point where he became absent from the Phantom hunting, which made the girls worry.
I have to admit that while Haruhiko’s mother is attractive and has a nice personality, especially when she asks embarrassing questions to Haruhiko, it seems that they were deceived by her. In fact, Enigma managed to take control of her after Mai found out that Phantom can take control of people. Yep, they were tricked despite Koito having strange feelings about her beforehand.
In short, Haruhiko became a huge target as the Enigma rubs it in by saying that he doesn’t know how to use his ability well and then steals it afterwards. Now with Reina and Koito knocked out, although their abilities are most likely still in tact, it seems that aside from Haruhiko and his mother, Ruru is unconscious as well. With things this bad, it makes me wonder how they will stop Enigma before she takes over the whole world with all the powers she stolen. Is the device that Haruhiko is repairing will be key to stop it? We’ll find out in the big finale.
