Now that Nene learned about what Clarion is up to, it’s her turn to save her.
From the looks of it, it seems that everything is possible for Nene considering that she was able to infiltrate without getting detected. Still, I have to admit that it was funny and cute to see her try to pull a lever with all her might and have the door open just like that and that does not happen only once, but twice!
Aside from being thrown in the trash along with one of the girls, namely the one that is wearing a bunny suit, it seems that she is in desperation given that Ian basically threw her away like a used rag after being saved by Clarion. Somehow, she has a device that allows Nene and herself to get out of the trash disposal room. Believe it or not, it almost looks like Nene was in a virtual reality video game as she tries to get into the base’s system so that they can escape.
Judging from her experiences, it seems that she somewhat lacks self-confidence at first since she is doing something on her own without any help from Clarion. While it’s interesting to see her experience of moving her limbs for the first time, getting into a system was a new experience for her. Thankfully, she eventually entered it without hesitation and was able to stop the trash disposal machine in time and open the escape hatch. This just shows that anything is possible for Nene when she puts her mind into it.
While it’s funny to see Takumi and BUER try to compete with each other, I’m happy that Nene was able to reunite with Clarion as she hugs her. It seems that Clarion survived the attack, except one of her limbs got damaged. It looks like next time, Nene will finally kick Ian’s puppet butt as they face off against her and Clarion as try to stop actual BUER before it’s too late.
Aside from that, it’s funny that Nene believes that she can buy world peace with money. In fact, that is true in Civilization V since you can use gold to buy influence for city states. It seems that Ian doesn’t like this idea and wants to destroy the whole world to achieve world peace because of the terrible things in human nature. This essentially contradicts what America stands for, but hopefully Nene and Clarion will teach him a lesson he won’t forget next time.
Yep, she is amazing.
