It seems that Ruru doesn’t like being small all the time given the amount of abuse she goes through. However, there is someone who can fix that.
I kind of felt bad for Ruru considering how much abuse she gets from Haruhiko. Maybe part of it is her fault since she teases him a bit too much. Sadly, she got stepped on when he tried to find his tie and he said that she is too small. Yep, now she wishes that she was bigger so she wouldn’t have to put up with this
Thankfully, a cute witch Phantom happened to show up at a convenient time to grant what Ruru desires the most: to become human sized. There are some drawbacks such as having to keep her identity secret and losing the ability to fly, but it’s exactly what Ruru wanted since she wants to drink a whole bottle of ramune. Thus, she poses as a new transfer student.
I have to admit that her human form looks look attractive and adorable at the same time. I find it shocking that Haruhiko and the others didn’t believe the new transfer student, Natsuno Ramune is actually Ruru since their personalities are pretty much the same. Still, its fun to see her try out various club activities and do terribly at all of them. Not only that, the story Ruru told is funny in a sense that it’s all made up and tragic at the same time. I’m quite amazed that everyone actually believed it, especially Koito, who Ruru feared that will blow her cover. Thankfully, it didn’t happen aside from Haruhiko second guessing himself a few times.
While Ruru liked being human sized since she can eat everything she wanted without becoming full instantly and wear a yukata, she soon realizes that its harder than she expected. Aside from losing the ability to fly, her feet got blistered from all the walking she did. To make matters worse, her friends were worried that Ruru won’t be there to watch the fireworks. Given that a big firework phantom appeared was about to explode grabbed Haruhiko, Ruru had to give up her wish to save him. Such a shame that Ruru decided to sacrifice herself, but she had to do it. Otherwise, she won’t have someone to tease.
Nope, Ruru didn’t die although Haruhiko was about to break down thinking that she lost her. Thankfully, she survived despite being scolded by him for doing that. Then again, if she didn’t sacrifice her wish to save Haruhiko, he would have been toast. In short, he eventually apologizes for stepping on her, which shows that at least he has some compassion left in him. Hopefully from this, Haruhiko won’t bully Ruru too much. To me, I highly doubt that it will last one episode.
Aside from that, I have to admit that the witch phantom was adorable. Not only that, the girls looked great in their yukatas.
